So do PvP match you with people of similar gear level? I'm level 20 something with your random scrub ass green/white weapons. Will I be thrashed around by ballerjhorn or whatever?
Normal Crucible has level advantages disabled. And the horn has been nerfed. So you will match with people of different levels but their level advantage will be non-existant.

Most pvp matches don't take into account your light level but your weapons may need a little upgrading.

Yeah I'm not asking about level, I'm asking about gear/weapon, which is why I'm talking about my random green scout rifle vs exotic stuff
I'd recommend waiting until you do whatever quest is needed to unlock the third subclass, so you can get a head start on leveling that.

Edit: Do we know how far into TTK we get our new subclass quests? I'm thinking of saving my bounties for it.
Weapon perks are not removed, but weapon level is normalized. So people with exotics get to use the exotic perks, and you get to use the perks on your green scout, but gear/weapon levels are normalized in normal crucible.... and in that respect they have no advantage over you.
I have seen lots of low level good players dominate the charts... but once you get the better weapons your not going to want to use that green scout anymore.
I should say one of the best PvP players in Destiny uses a white sniper rifle in normal PvP and wrecks with it.

Yeah, I really liked the music from both expansions. And Oryx's theme is fantastic; I'll grab this from b.net after completing the campaign.

Edit: Actually finished the HoW story for the first time today. Crazy just how absent ghost was during it. Regardless of preference Dinklage had to go if that was going to continue. Still think Nolan is inferior with the 343 guilty spark impression but it's better than deafening silence.

I guess i will eventually have to delete and download the whole thing if i wanna go disc-less

Yeah I don't think there's any way around re downloading it with a physical to digital change.

What is the point of stores doing midnight releases for this when it doesn't unlock until 4am. Basically making us night people have to wait all day Tuesday to play. That is really stupid. Me and some friends were gonna knock out the story tonight, now we won't even get to play together since we work different hours.

Destiny seems to be one of the few games where the times work out well for me in Australia. Resets at 7pm are nice as I can just log in after dinner and work. Good times.
Anyway I got the five gunsmith weapons researched and I have 16 completed bounties ready to hand in for some quick XP. It might be time to try for some decent gear now seeing as what I have now is so poor

Though it might be a bogus one because this is from the store as an add on. Destiny is by itself with a new Library picture. There's no way to access the countdown screen from my library otherwise it just plays Destiny vanilla.

Question: I have $20 credit on my xbox account. I need to get the full game and all that again and my wife has the limited original game. She has the expansions already so she just needs the $40 taken king parts right? If I get the disc version of this new game can I get the code to her and buy the taken king with some of my credit on my end? There is no gifting on the xbox one that I know of so I can't send her the credit or buy the expansion on my end and send it to her right?
