It's not a thing you get in the mail or anything. They are just green weapons at the vanguard quartermaster in the hangar area. There's three Suros weapons with the other "Vanguard Armory" weapons.

There is no year two version so it is only good for old content and regular Crucible right now.

This expansion is phenomenal. Well fucking done Bungie. Destiny is finally realizing its true potential
Oh? Because when I had pre-ordered it showed 5 items, like 3 guns, some shader etc. I did get the Vanguard DLC code in my case, but not the Suros which is why I was curious. So it's free to all day one players regardless? Sorry, still new to Destiny.
I think those specific Suros weapons only show up at the quartermaster for people who preordered. The shader and emblem should have come in a package at the postmaster.

I played a ton of vanilla. Than just came back fow a couple weeks on each expansion.
The game was always slighlty above average to me. What takes it to amazing with the new expansion?

It has a story, that is not overly serious about itself.
There's interaction between characters, they're brought to life, they are involved.
I've only played the first story mission and the 3rd subclass mission but already i have seen more story unfold than in the entire past 12 months.
You're at the preparing to download stage basically meaning your ps4 is going through 17 gigs of patch data to figure out where it's going to add that 10 mb.

But I am having trouble finding the starting quest for TTK. I played a ton of vanilla, a tiny bit of Dark Below, and no HoW. What are the prereq's in order to start the first TTK quests. Also, I am level 34.

Yeah, we've done the first two and the trip to get the new subclass. The story plus that second mission is quality. Looking forward to the rest!

It's on Mars. Technically on Phobos but you have to select Mars first.

On solar system screen, hover cursor over purple icon thats on the right side. I think its Mars. It should say "The Taken King"

Its just crystal clear this expansion was Bungies response to a year of critique. Everything is improved. The combat scenarios, story, leveling, everything.
You have to have HoW and TDB
I figured that might be the case. I thought I might have had to wait an extra week but his weapons seemed to refresh with the TTK reset, so I was able to get rank 1 this week.

I believe it's just there, to the right of Mars on Phobos. I don't recall having to accept any quest line.

The quest you get from The Reef to hunt high level enemies in the Cosmodrome says to do it in a fire team. Am I missing something or is there no matchmaking for something as basic as a mission? I applaud Bungie for the changes they've made but their continued stupidity when it comes to the basics of what makes a social game a social game just continues to irritate me.
The console should come with everything. At least Amazons version does.

Better than just making her up and disappear.

Just swung by Gamestop and picked up my copy of the TTK. Barely touched this game since launch and since it was a gift I figured taking advantage of the Gamestop deal - wouldn't be a terrible investment.
The 17GB update is taking 11 hours apparently. And I'm on Google DNS.

You know I never complained about PSN speeds back during the PS3 days because we didn't have to pay for online access but now that I renewed my subscription to PS+ just to play this game and I can't even play it because of these download speeds? Fuck me.

Yes, unless I am wrong. The Legendary edition is just the core game +all DLC. The collectors had all the stuff. Look at your box, it lists it as "plus" but there is no card.
Huh. Maybe I will have to check it out. I just didn't like the idea of putting even more money into the game but was always enamoured with the idea of it realizing its potential.

Use googles dns tool to to find the best open dns for your location. Google's isn't always the best, and could even be worse than just using your isps automatic dns setting. It should not take 17 hours. Mine started out like that but only actually took a couple hours.

No, because all the TKK stuff was locked. Should have just done it all the same day. I imagine part of the update was unlocking everything. And the update actually more like 50mb. Done now so no worries.

Yeah I was playing around and even went back to Verizon's automatic settings which bumped up my download time to 22 fucking hours. What a fucking joke.

So I got the disc with the code and installed it on my home xbox - My understanding is that I can play it on another system while the person logged into my home xbox can play it also right? Seems like it has worked before. Now that I get into my second xbox one it wants me to buy it again?
I asked xbox chat and they know nothing as usual. Should I wait since they said it is an on going issue or just have her buy the expansion also. Hate to drop another $40 on this if we don't have to.
Also do xbox ever issue refunds since I got the first expansion then found out it is included in this box so I have 2 copies of it and no way to get rid of either.
