It's about the game being easy to pick up. At a basic level you're not tasked with complex stuff, it's just point press a button and click..
Just a random thought, I was looking back at the Combofiend vs Mike Ross match way back when the game was revealed.
Somehow I think that looked more fun than what we have now. I know it was like slower game overall but, Just in terms of how the attacks looked and connected was more interesting, you had shit that looked like real attackss. Felt like it was the next evolution of street fighter, man. I noticed the slower pre-e3 version had a revenge meter, so maybe there's like two modes that they haven't revealed, one that's like the slower paced of the first demo and the Turbo edition we have now. I can only pray lol.

Was it really because of the complains? Iirc in SF4 they toned down a lot of strong chip attacks like jaguar kick and headbutts. Adding the strong corner control + chip of that attack, displayed by Jwong, the signs were already there.
here's hoping for a blow out on top of the reveal

I said that "introduce" in that context doesn't mean reveal which is why I didn't think they were going to reveal the character on the 20th. "Introduce" means to demo the character so the audience can know all about the character.

Seifuku doesn't just mean uniform. It specifically refers to the sailor style uniforms that are omnipresent in Japanese media.
They tried nerfing the chip in USF4 more, actually, but reverted it.

Karin only proves THAT part of the Leak. Alex and Urien was technically in a separate article. But yeah if Urien or Alex comes thru, then people need to accept our new leak overlords

It stands for uniform in Japanese. You're able to use seifuku for any type of uniform. Both males and females.
seifuku = せいふく = 制服
Look at the two characters next to the number 1.
Assistant producer Ayano and Sentosu. Sentosu is a japanese fgc personality who is always with kokujin, nuki, and papatiwawa.
It feels odd to me that there is two remaining "classic" characters not because I don't think they'd feel out of place in the 16 character launch roster but because they're waiting so long to reveal them when you would think they would be saving characters that would make bigger splashes at this point. I can't see people losing their minds over the inclusion of Dhalsim and Zangief even if they're both worthy of the spot.
I guess I'm hoping "classic", in this instance, means a SF character that was in IV and also in several other games. Like Dudley, for example ...

It would basically cement our staring roster as well, as it seems there would be no new surprises outside of the newcomers.

Not necessaraly, as Alex & Urien were listed separately. However, it would give us ample evidence to assume that Alex & Urien would come to Street Fighter V at some point. But at the same time, Siliconera never said that they'd be DLC.
You always have to account for that 12% chance. That being said, this reveal will most likely be either Laura, Zen, or someone we haven't seen in a while.
My money's on Karin, as well.
The newcomers (sans Necalli) were leaked by Ken Bogard, so yeah.

If the leaks are true, I don't think the hype would die out. Alex, Urien and Karin are all highly requested characters by the fanbase..the Mika reveal had this place buzzing (for multiple reasons of course but still)...Vega not so much (salt doesn't count). I think if that is the remaining cast, there would be plenty of hype...just to see how they translate to SFV.
If it was someone who was in SFIV, we wouldn't have gotten a Twitter teaser. It's like I said before, Ono may like to surprise, but he's no Sakurai.
I think Rainbow Mika will replace Sakura as Karin's rival.
It only means we get Zangief and Sakura as DLC super soon.

I honestly don't see how Urien will not be announced. They need a illuminati to explain Nash.
I do agree that we need an Illuminati rep on account of the circumstances behind Charlie's revival, but there is a chance that Urien could be a sub boss or something. Regardless, the Illuminati will surely play a major role in the story.

It is obvious he'll end up in the game, it is just that the siliconera leak didn't really mention that they would be part of the initial roster, just that they'd be in the game.
My money is on the siliconera rumor being right however. I can't see them revealing someone like Dhalsim or Zangief this late and expecting anyone to be excited. If more world warriors were part of the roster, I don't really think they'd be in the last four reveals...

The Zen thing is just an educated guess knowing the distance between Necalli & Rashid's reveals. Obviously the reveals will be more condensed as we get closer to the end of the year, but you get the idea. But my point still stands about Karin. She's the most popular character in Japan, it only makes sense to reveal her at TGS like they revealed Rashid at Games15. While granted, there's always that 12% chance that Ono may throw a curveball, but I'm not too sure of that as we get closer to the TGS reveal.
Karin does seem logical. IIRC the Spider-Man reveal for MvC3 was saved for TGS due to his popularity and familiarity there.
