Not really, he's just the only character who's arcade ending has him winning, so he's considered the "real" winner last I checked.

It's not just us. They made Karin into a yellow eyed monster for the sake of differentiation.

The blonde thing is mainly just an occurrence of most of the characters they haven't appeared in a while being blond ( all 4 alpha peeps for example), two mainstays (Cammy and Ken) being blond, and Vega deciding to dye his hair like a jerk (really he is the one who messes up a lot of things...thanks bro).

It's in Nash's artwork and on the New Zealand stage. You can't automatically assume it's Necalli's stage as we have seen in SF3 that Illuminati stages go from place to place. Urien's stages were in Egypt and Mexico. Necalli is an aztec name so why would he be in New Zealand?

The only thing that ties Necalli to the New Zealand stage is that he was introduced on that stage, but it's not like that was the first time we saw that stage. The New Zealand stage was revealed on Capcom Unity first.

But his design is so awesome. I get why they would ditch the scars (continuity), but it'd be weird to have Alex without the scars. It'd be like Karin losing her spiral hair locks.

the only reason i'm not sure if he should have a V-Skill like that is because he wants to be in close and people need to be able to zone him out of grapple range... sort of like how Mika doesn't have a Nash style fireball eater

V-Trigger that does massive stun is also really cool. i like that as much as a 'your moves flip your enemy around' idea.

Good points! But even without him we still have Nash. There are only two Shadowloo characters in the game, and Urien is likely a part of the story even if he's not playable.

i hope they're taking cues from Alpha 2 - no selectable supers, isms, triggers/skills, etc. everyone gets 1 build, no LOL style runes to buff you up. just balanced gameplay.

As far as I'm concerned this whole roster has played it safe, since when have alpha and sf2 characters been consider "risky". Waiting on the third strike boys for someone whose design is really appealing.
