Rock Band 4 announced for PS4 and Xbox One

Has anyone been able to actually Queue any songs up to their PS4? When I do it on the store site I just get a mouse loading circle for a few minutes.

Ived heard them saying that they would focus on RBN after legacy DLC was done

to be fair that can just be a restatement of what we knew from launch, RBN in general won't be supported. It doesn't rule out future tracks being brought over.

I imagine it would make sense down the line to bring over most of the RBN songs that released on the ps3 if they can.

yeah looks like you can't do it from the page of the song, you gotta do it from the PS4 Tab in download list.

So main thing I've noticed is if you own a pack that only available on PS3 and the individual songs are on PS3 and PS4 we still need to wait for the entire pack to get converted to get those songs which is a bit annoying but looks like ill be able to get around 40-50% of my DLC now.

Got my Cartman from South Parks version of Poker Face so I mean that's a win.
 
Just a tip for people going through the 43 page rockband DLC list for their songs. You can do a CTRL + F search for free, and see if it's listed which will be a PS4 version which you have to repurchase for free. But it saves you from scrolling through every page.

It looks like they're merging the PS3 and PS4 listings, and the merged listing are going for the PS4 price ($1.99), at least on the web store. So anything that hasn't been uploaded/merged is going to stay at the old price either until it gets uploaded or until Tuesday, whichever comes first.
 
What is the most efficient way to get through songs on Xbox One? Through xbox.com?

Both the site and store on the console are so slow for me...
 
Really debating sleeping. Please please please don't let the rest of the DLC go up before I wake up ;_; I would be crushed if I missed out on that thing
 
All these songs I'm buying are going to transfer right? Because some don't have ps4 on them yet, fuck I'm spending a lot of money on these download songs.
 
Absolutely gutted. Found my Rock Band 2 game but the manual is missing. I played it on okd Xbox live account. Won't be able to get an export code now :(

They do plan on supporting the title post-launch with new features but I'm not sure if people are going to be okay with that.

Eh. Thanks for the update. I'm cancelling my pre-order then. I'll give it a few days, see what people say and then make a choice based on that. The game was looking incomplete before but no practice mode or setlists...OK. I'll buy Transformers Devastation instead.

Yeah. In fact, some of those 30 pre-order songs were on RBN. So I think we can expect the big names to come eventually.
 
Do we know if DLC songs will be included in the career mode?
 
The game is hardly advertised in my country, whereas one of the biggest retail shops has Guitar Hero Live listed on the main page already, it won't be out for quite a bit. They don't even sell RB4.

There's like a single store you can go to, to even get the 30 bonus songs.

Ehhhh, also a GameStop employee. We had gotten out X1 guitar bundles before the weekend so I doubt its all delayed. Also current Store Manager is a huge fan and my old store manager knows I'm a huge fan. I believe if either was delayed I would of been told already. The only thing to note was that we had not gotten the BiaB for x1 in yet but it was in transit so it should arrive on Monday if it had not yesterday

I think you are seeing the difference between self-publishing with Mad Catz assistance and the strong financial arm of Activision.
 
I hope HMX makes major bank with this DLC sale. I know I did my part D:
 
Gonna be F5-ing this thread like crazy waiting for the UK DLC to go up. Guessing this may be my only chance to get Rock N Roll Star and don't want to miss it!

You could just buy it on the webstore of whatever platform you're on? I know I just did on PSN, I don't know how the situation is with XBox.

Don't think it's ever been available on the UK store, or it hasn't been for several years at least. I believe it was in Euro RB1, exported to RB2 but couldn't be played in RB3 due to licensing issues (similar to Hier Kommt Alex). You get no results for it when you search on the UK web store

lol, with these pricing mistakes I could have spent $200 in DLC and got everything that I had on the xbox due to how low albums are going for atm on the PS4.
