Sony : Paris Games Week press conference dated

- Quantic Dream new IP
- Bloodborne expansion gameplay
- The Last of Us 2 announcement (or maybe at e3 2016)
- GT7
- Playstation VR - new games
- A bonus game for Plus in November

Bunch of gameplay videos for the announced titles...

The must be something REALLY BIG.

The only dream left is Crash Bandicoot PS4. What a strange world we live in...

A crazy time to be alive.

I still can't believe The Last Guardian, Shenmue III and FFVII Remake are things that are happening.... I expected one. Maybe two. All three?

To use a hashtag I've been using for a lot in recent months... #DareToDream

Crash Bandicoot is coming home.

Crash Bandicoot is coming home.

PSX was basically made for a Crash announcement.

That would take the roof off.

Well, I do not know anything for sure, and it doesn't mean much, but Activision and Sony sure got a lot friendlier this gen.

#hope ?

Well, last PSX there was all sorts of crazy rumors going around like FF7R, The Last Guardian return and low and behold Crash Bandicoot for PS4.

All have occurred except for one. Where there is smoke, there's fire.

And Sony is definitely the most clued in gaming company on fan service and they categorically know that Crash is the next logical announcement.

I'd stake money that it will be an announcement at either PSX or E3 2016.

But PSX announcement would round out a historic year for simply insane announcements from Sony.

rumor has it is already in early development but who knows. it would be really (way really) optimistic to hear from it before the release of uncharted 4.

Oh I agree it is for sure in development. I just really doubt they would announce it before UC4 releases. E3 next year could definitely be the time it gets announced though.

So basically all the cool new stuff is in America? And this will be more Bloodborne? Or is that wrong, Sony confuse me...

Maybe a teaser at E3 2016 or PSX 2016, but there's more chance of Wii U winning an NPD month than an announcement this year.

I think 2016 at all is out of reach. There isnt TLOU2 without Neil and Bruce, so unless they learned the Miazaky magic we wont be hearding about it at least until E3 2017. There is also the Uncharted 4 SP DLC, which will probably have a big push for Holiday 2016.

I agree, but its a pretty bold statement to make that PGW will top E3 following a conference that literally will be the benchmark for years to come.

We got announcements of:

Horizon
The Last Guardian
Dreams
Final Fantasy 7 remake
Shenmue 3

All in one conference which is astounding.

To even match such a simply crazy lineup will be something just as crazy.

Zoetis didn't say that PGW would top the E3 conference overall. He clarified that he meant from a first party perspective, so you can scratch FFVIIR and Shenmue 3 from that list.

Well, Patrick Garrett (VG247 editor) wrote in their post about PGW in late August that you can expect fireworks from Sony at the event.

Don't know whether that means something but the guy is pretty clued in to Sony happenings.

I honestly think this may be the case hence Neil has writing help on UC4 with Josh Scherr/Tom Bissell

If there will be some good surprises I don't want anything leaked.

While E3 was AMAZING. the megatons were definitely hinted at.

But Naughty Dog dont have 2 teams anymore, right? I mean, I suppose there is already some kind of skeleton team to create the foundation of it, but it is a very different case from From (heh).

From their lead character artists linkedin page.

Lead Character Artist
Naughty Dog
April 2014 – Present (1 year 7 months)Santa monica
Leading character team and working on Uncharted 4- A Thief's End's characters including Drake.
Helping develop a unannounced AAA game title.

Like you said they likely have a skeleton crew on it with some people hopping back and forth between that project and UC4 including Neil/Bruce. They are probably getting a story outline and prototyping some mechanics and art styles so they can hit the ground running with production after UC4 ships. Similar to Uncharted 3 and the Last of Us which was announced less than a month after Uncharted 3 released and came out about a year and a half after it.

My guess for PGW :

- Quantic Dream's new game reveal
- Another announcement in the scale of Until Dawn/Wild.
- Driveclub Expansion
- 1-2 smaller scale projects ala Alienation/Helldivers.
- Gameplay reveal for Wild/Rime
- Blowout on Dreams with a alpha/beta announcement for early 2016
Wild is from Michel Ancel, so I'd expect to see Wild gameplay around 2180. Rime is a way safer bet.
I'd add more stuff from Dreams, maybe gameplay. New Horizon gameplay, some SFV announcement, Heavy Rain + Beyond Remastered announcement, No Man's Sky playable at booth and at least a new Morpheus game from an UK studio.

PS1 classics and PS2 classics.

Former is enough for me but both would be fantastic. C'mon Sony. I love playing em on Vita but sometimes even I want to have some good time with the Bandicoot on a big screen and I can't be arsed to hook up my PS3.

Interesting. I suppose they could manage to do that. They are a very efficient studio after all.

Do you have a capable PC? :P

With the PEGI PS4 rating on Dark Cloud 2 (or dark Chronicle) , Ape Escape 2, and Twisted Metal Black. There's a high chance they might talk about PS2 classics in a shape or form coming to PS4.

PSone/PS2 compatibility for the PS4 is another one I think could end up being a PX announcement. That's intended to be Sony's big fan event each year, and the ability to play games from those consoles are big fan requests.
