Getting GIDDY!!
Getting GIDDY!!
PSone/PS2 compatibility for the PS4 is another one I think could end up being a PX announcement. That's intended to be Sony's big fan event each year, and the ability to play games from those consoles are big fan requests.
PS2 emulation on PS4 would be great , even better than PS3 backward compability.
With the PEGI PS4 rating on Dark Butt 2 (or dark Chronicle) , Ape Escape 2, and Twisted Metal Black. There's a high chance they might talk about PS2 classics in a shape or form coming to PS4.
We will finally be able to play an actual Tony Hawk Pro Skater game on the PS4! xD
But with them being re-rated, that simply implies a re-release on current gen hardware and not straight up software emulation of PS1/PS2 titles, doesn't it?

Considering Shuhei himself has said we can look toward past Gamescom events for what to expect from PGW, we shouldn't be expecting anything too huge. Just updates on previously announced games along with creative indie and collaborative titles.
Probably something like:
- First party sizzle reel (UC4, Horizon, TLG, Ratchet)
- Dreams gameplay demo
- New trailers and possible release dates for games like RIME, Alienation, and Wild
- A couple of compelling smallish announcements that are in conjunction with Sony Xdev like Ovosonico's new game (guys who did Murasaki Baby)
- A few third party games like always
- Quantic Dream's new game as the big announcement

what are the chances of a no man's sky release date?
NoAnybody else feel the Paris Games Week PS4 conference is just not worth it, considering they have PSX in a couple months?

I think it's going to be if you like indie games. Since this is the conference they usually have announced them before. Btw does anyone have a countdown clock for the conference.Anybody else feel the Paris Games Week PS4 conference is just not worth it, considering they have PSX in a couple months?
Didn't zoetis say that pgw was going to be better than e3? I'm not sure what could happen or how that's possible tbh. Did he hint at it?
I just feel as if there is not really anything to announce or get excited about except smaller things. If something good is announced I will be fine. Also TGS for Sony makes sense, since it actually has different games that appeal to that demographic where Europe plays the same games America does.
He said it'd be better in terms of the first party output
I wonder if they mean as far as more gameplay of announced games or new first party announcements.
I'm unsure how Sony could top E3 with PGW. They would have to reveal GT7 (own event/PSX), Bends game (PSX) and GOW4 (PSX/E3 '16) to even stand a chance?
Unless I'm missing some other Sony first party games? I do worry about the amount of games pushed back to next year given Sony will be using a lot of time and money launching PSVR.
I'd love it to be the case, though.
PS1 and PS2 titles that get PSN releases get re-rated as well and those are emulated. The questions are more about whether or not the games will have enhancements and if Sony will allow disc based support or choose to block it like assholes instead.
If they reveal GoW4 soon, bet it'll destroy everything. SSM are wizards and I can't wait to see the mindmelting visual fidelity they'll achieve with the next game.
Quantic Dream's new game ALONE should be enough to hype the PS faithful. That's a big AAA title that's going to get announced - cause it has to. Everything else is gravy and boy does the gravy look good.
A video flickers into action. David Cage appears on screen and begins by apologising for not being there in person. In the video he talks about his new project, but just before he reveals it, the video freezes. There's a moment of pause and David Cage walks on with a controller in hand. As he continues from where the video left of, he rotates the computer generated David Cage on the screen ...

Announce the price drop for PS4 in Europe as well please!!!
What are the chances that Playstation VR will get a date and a price PGW?
Ha, this had me confused when I opened the threadMore than 2 months away.
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay...
...the demo ends David left the stage, time past nobody back there, Yoshida is sleeping, conference over.
