No, he said it's gonna be like the previous Gamescom conferences. So take a look at the last two GC conferences and you know what to expect at this year's PGW.

The big announcement will be Quantic Dream's new IP. Don't expect anything bigger than that. Just look at the previous Gamescom conferences.

The dream scenario. People would lose their shit, and it'd all finally make sense why we never got a release date. I don't think Sony has the balls to do it though, they probably see their holiday lineup as strong enough already.

I have nothing against NMS but I wish they would give a release date for it already and get that bitch out ASAP so I don't need to see it in every single conference. Getting Destiny vibes here.

And please tell me Destiny isn't gonna appear. There ain't any content updates coming up right?

Destiny is still going to get promotion. It is even in the commercial with Blops 3, Battlefront and Uncharted/Assassin's Creed for the holidays. Destiny is a huge investment and they are going to give it a ton of time because of that.

Updates on Wild and Rime; Dreams from MM having the lion share of the conference coverage; Quantic Dreams revealing their next project...is good enough for me.
 
Knowing how SCEE is been helping out new European studios such as Ovosonico, heavy spectrum, and Wild Sheep, I wonder what Micheal Denny has gotten any new studios with ps4 projects to announce at PGW.

Basically my sentiments, I feel they're dragging this out a bit and its having a detrimental effect on htpe levels with people mindlessly asking 'But what do you actually DO?' despite those answers are out there. Every showing people begin to feel underwhelmed because they're sick of seeing it and just want to play it already. I expect a negative reception at PGW unless it's accompanied by a solid release date.
 
The mulitplayer beta of Uncharted 4 starts aday before PSX so we might see something of that af PGW. Also, if awesome, it might drive some people to buy the NDC.
 
GTplanet owner already said not to get hyped for Paris if you want GT7 news. He also warned everyone about no GT at E3.
 
I expect a big focus on Dreams and the new Quantic Dream game. That's about it for AAA games. Maybe something for Horizon Zero Dawn too since GG is a Euro developer as well.

It's so hard to get hyped for any of these conferences anymore
Hoping to see more wild and get release dates for rime and Tomorrow children though
