Any bets if there will be a scene where Han shoots first?
Is there no internet in Star Wars?
Or TV?
Or even radio?
You'd think people would at least pay attention to the happenings in the Republic capital.
At first I thought this was EP3 Anakin

When asked after the initial teaser released he said he hadn't watched it and that Disney had opted to ignore his notes.
Wait...
What?
Yeah... it's kind of nuts, but he really pushed the idea that Marion should be eleven when she and a 25 years old Indy had an affair. According to him, it would be "amusing".
Still waiting for someone to seamlessly combine this moment with a Game of Thrones clip to make it look like Jon Snow is coming after him.
How many amputations, dismemberments, and force chokings are there in 1-6? Burned skeletons on the ground? Torture scenes? It's not super dark, but still.
Sure, but nothing as brutal as that scene from Star Trek.
I think it'll be really interesting if that's what ends up happening. Could bring about a very enlightening dialogue between the different generations of SW fans about what the films mean to them. What happens if New Fans don't like it though? And that it's only Old Fans who like it with their Nostalgia Goggles?
Will Lucas be redeemed?
Because so far, it seems like they are pandering to Old Fans only and that New Fans might get lost in the shuffle.
But who are the most vocal about this? The old folks who can't get over the fact that they are old and Star Wars was always a pretty average series to begin with which is just used to sell things now...and they fall for it!
To think George Lucas will be bitter is very odd. We are getting this movie BECAUSE of of what Lucas planned out prior to selling the company.
Lucas from the get-go a few years back put in place the plans to kick start the sequel trilogy and sell the company.

Huh.Spielberg was kinda with it. Kasdan I think is the one arguing against it. As it was, Marion got aged up like 3 years as a compromise.
They were trying to make him more like Bond in those story meetings, and I think that was Lucas/Spielberg's idea of how to do it: Introduce a predatory side. They were both, however, obviously kinda feeling the idea. Which is gross.
Lots of bad ideas got coughed up in those story meetings. They didn't get USED is the good thing.
Why does Kylo Ren care about Vader, his mask and doing his work? Vader failed in his mission and being a Sith, he turned on his master. What is there to glorify/worship or care about?
Perhaps the filmmakers just think its a cool shot to have and it will make fanboys go crazy to see Vader's mask, but perhaps there is more to it than that.
Perhaps Luke was the master of Kylo Ren, Ren went Sith and found out what happened between his master and his father.
I dont think Ren will just be some random evil guy like Maul was, and i dont see how Luke fits in this story, if he is to be old sage wise man, he has to know something about Ren that the protagonists want, hence them visiting him at some point in the film.
They really nailed it with BB-8.BB-8 Reacts to the Force Awakens Trailer

Huh.
Even suggesting that is gross as hell. I'm shaking my head so hard at this.
"I was a child!"
"You knew what you were doin"

i got pedo vibes from lucas around the time when the prequels were coming out.

I'm betting Luke tellig Kylo Ren the man he idolises turned away from everything he represents in the end will be a big part of TFA.

I thought George Lucas's rejected ideas made it to the internet in very brief form?

"[Abrams] said Lucass treatment had centered on very young charactersteenagers, Lucasfilm told mewhich might have struck Disney executives as veering too close for comfort to The Phantom Menace and its 9-year-old Anakin Skywalker and 13-year-old Queen Amidala. Weve made some departures from Lucass ideas, Kennedy conceded, but only in exactly the way you would in any development process."
Disney did the right thing. Instead of putting Lucas's ideas in charge, they went with a talented fresh crew of young directors.
Sounds like a disaster was averted.

I believe that's a remix of Leia's theme.
Watched Empire last night and noticed the scene where Vader first appears looking out the bridge of his Super Star Destroyer looks almost identical to the shot of Kylo Ren looking out the window in this trailer.
Looking forward to seeing what his Star Destroyer looks like.
George Lucas's treatments were probably super similar to the prequels.
God damn that thing looks lethal.
