Rebels got you covered
Not exactly. I mean it could happen as a flashback, but it hasn't happened yet.
Rebels got you covered
It would be interesting to watch since they have such different fighting styles.I hope Maul gets his resolution in Rebels. Darth Vader vs Maul would be awesome.

Filoni has said that the last season would have told what was happening with characters like Ahsoka and Rex who weren't in the film, during the events of the film. They wouldn't remake the film or anything within the show.
The main arcs they had in development for the rest of season 6 and season 7, as far as I know, were:
- A four episode arc resolution of the Darth Maul and Mandalore plots (which we got in the form of a comic, although still with some loose plot strings)
- 8 episodes (two arcs) involving Asaaj Ventress and Quinlan Vos (which became a novel)
- A four episode arc about the Kaiber crystal that powers the Death Star (Which was in fact produced and you can find on Youtube, but was not fully animated)
- Two four episode arcs about the "Bad Batch", a group of "non-optimal" clones who were produced. One of these arcs was produced and is on youtube but not fully animated, like the Kaiber crystal one.
- An arc featuring Ahsoka in the "underworld" of Coruscant
- An arc featuring the Yuuzhan Vong
- An arc featuring an ancient Sith Temple in the lower levels of Coruscant
- An arc where the bounty hunters all team up and Cad Bane is a father figure to Boba Fett
- Telling what happens to Ahsoka and Rex during the event of Revenge of The Sith
Filoni is using Rebels to tie up some loose ends though so it is possible we will see some of these ideas re-appear.
Not sure what arc it would have been (Siege of Mandalore perhaps?) but Ahsoka at some point was supposed to have her own group of loyal clones following her.

I love how Darth Vader fights in Rebels. They took the slower old trilogy fighting and justified it.
Umbara arc is god-tier television.
I really wish DICE would do an Umbara Map for Battlefront. Would be an amazing Night combat map with all that neon glow

Here it is, one of (if not the) most powerful, dramatic and sad moments in all of Star Wars canon:
Almost any Prequel environment would be amazing with DICE's level of detail. Unlike the OT, which were all plain locations due to the realities of filming movies back in the 70's/80's; the Prequel locations all have their own distinct personality.
I know there's not a lot of context in that shot by itself but I feel like it's really spoiler-y. I've seen lots of people in a few threads mention that they're just going through the series now. Not telling you what to do but maybe link instead of embed the image? Just a thought.
Also, I totally agree with you. I still get a little teary when I watch that scene. That music...
I think you can spoiler tag images now too?
Good call, spoiler tagged the image link.
Honestly, I wouldn't mind Grievous's Sunday morning cartoon villain style if it wasn't for how freaking badass he was in Genndy Tartakovsky's series.Honestly, I feel like Grievous got really screwed in Clone Wars. He was featured heavily in the first seasons where he was essentially a Saturday morning, "I'll get you next time!" type villain. Then when they had a chance to really go all-in with him during the later seasons he was mostly shelved. He has a few appearances around then that are really cool, but lots of squandered potential.

I am nearing the end of season 2 and really enjoying The Clone Wars. Ahsoka is easily the most exciting character to watch and the clones are also entertaining. Unfortunately, I've already spotted what looks likes spoilers in this thread, I will need to come back after I am done watching all the seasons.
Thanks to this series I dumped some money in the DI 3.0 set and having a lot of fun. Dual wielding Lightsabers as Ahsoka feels so badass. Next to get is the speedway expansion and race as the speeders.
I will say, at least for me, TCW has repaired most lot of the damage the episode 1, 2, and 3 movies did. I am getting psyched for episode 7 in December and already have my Christmas eve tickets bought.
I'm a SW fan, but the prequels left me a bit cold, so I ignored this series - until today. I just finished watch the original 2008 CG film The Clone Wars, then I watched season 1 ep1 afterwards. The film was pretty fantastic, to my surprise. It looks like I have several seasons to watch on netflix before SW IV debuts on 12/18/2015. I didn't read much of the earlier posts because I'm afraid of any spoilers.
I've read that season 1 isn't really that great, but I'll plug through it in the expectation (from reading reports online) that it gets much better.
If you enjoyed the movie, which even a lot of die-hard fans of the series are cold on, you're gonna love the series. From season 1 to 5, it just keeps getting better with each new season. Season 6 is a bit of a regression, but it's still great.I'm a SW fan, but the prequels left me a bit cold, so I ignored this series - until today. If you liked the film, you will like season 1. The film is easily the worst part of the entire series so you'll probably enjoy all of the series if you liked that
Wow, I guess I was not expecting much, I liked it. Even baby Hutt and 'know it all' padawan stuff didn't really detract much, to me.

I loved the younglings arc, and while Meeber Gascon was obnoxious, I still enjoyed R2-D2 and Gregor the clone commando.I really don't get why everyone loves season 5 so much. Parts of season five are the highest highs, but it also has the lowest low with Meeber Gascon. I also don't care for the younglings arc.
By the way Cad Bane is the best character ever. Pretty sure he murders 20 people in his intro episode.
I loved the Younglings Arc. They were all so cute, and a lot less obnoxious than child characters tend to be (except for the one human kid, he was kind of annoying). Of course, there's that moment when you're like, huh, wonder what they'll be like when they grew up and become Jedi! Oh... wait...![]()
[*]An arc featuring the Yuuzhan Vong.
Same. I really enjoyed the younglings arc and Gregor was brilliant.I loved the younglings arc, and while Meeber Gascon was obnoxious, I still enjoyed R2-D2 and Gregor the clone commando.
and as you said, everything else is solid gold.
The only upside to TCW getting cancelled is that the Vong didn't become canon.
What's the canon status on stuff like Sons of Dathomir and the Ventress novel?

Any script adapted from TCW unfinished plots, regardless the media. Is canon.
IIRC. The idea for the Vong was to just make them alien warriors thus killing any hope for the EU BS of ever being canon again.

I don't think Son of Dathomir is canon, but Dark Disciple (the Ventress novel) definitely is.
They're canon. So are the produced arcs with unfinished animation.
