I always love these confessional threads, especially when it's with a bunch of people with similar hobbies. So GAF, how old are you? and how much do you make? (it'd be cool if you could mention what it is that you do, but I understand if you don't want to)

Edit: I'm a 20 year old student and I make around $12,000 a year, but I live with my parents so I get to spend it on cool things.

My Wikipedia entry tells me I'm on $400,000 per annum. Not that I have to really spend much. But I'm going to be unemployed next year, so may have to start some budgeting exercises.

Best of luck, OP...

Im earning about 5k more now than I was this time last year yet somehow it feels like I have less money than ever before, even after cutting down on pointless spending. Being an adult is hard.

30, about $21-22k (I'm from UK). Secretary at a medical practice working 30hrs per week (3 day weekends for the win and 5 weeks paid holiday per year plus bank holidays)

I honestly need to find a better paying job though, and one that preferably has more like minded colleagues, a great deal of mine are 45+, married, family, and don't have that many hobbies besides family and food/drink

50-60k a year 23 years old. I'm a Table games and Poker dealer, and occasionally a supervisor.

Edit: I live in Southern California so money doesn't go quite as far as I would like.

$53K/year + $1000 bonus if I do well.

Not great for my job title (.Net Programmer), but not bad for considering how laid back the place is and the fact that I have a liberal arts bachelor's degree (but a programming associate's degree).

I've only been there one year though, and I'm pretty sure, based on what other people make, that I should continue to get decent pay bumps as I go along.

Fuck leaving in Greece suck when it comes to money, about 13.000€ annually, 29, programmer.

edit: At least this is after taxes & social insurance applied, which account for ~1.500€.

13.000€ = 14212$

Current job 19k I'm 29 and was hard to find a "real" job after college so I'm working at a call center.

Got an offer for a new job a few days ago though and if everything goes through on the background check I will be making 37K per year.

$40k and I'm 23 years old working in IT.

I also live with my parents still right now. I've been saving for the last 3 years so I can buy a house next year.

27, IT field tech (top tier for my position), $58K USD

Finished my B.S. in Computer Science this year, though, so I'm going to be looking to move out of tech work and into development.
