True, but it took 9 patches to get the PS4 versions frame-rate above the XB1 version.MS had a marketing deal with Witcher 3 and it runs better on PS4 and a higher resolution. So...how do you explain that?

They are definitely doing that to demonstrate the framerate. No, it looks like he's never played a shooter before, I wanted to reach into the screen and stop the horror.
Possibly.
I'm not going to crap all over the developer for bringing out one of the most complex games to date and it has bugs at launch. You can patch these types of games for 2 years straight and there will still be bugs. And I am not going to moan about the framerate either. Games of this scope are hard to pull off and they managed to do it with a team not much larger than the Fallout 3 team. If anything, I want to buy one of the developers a pizza and say thank you.
Don't forget that infamous GTA:San Andreashttp://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=820 (actually not as bad as the "real" San Andreas post from NeoGaf but I'm too lazy to look for it)

The fact that you were so ready and willing to consider a few framerate hitches as being indicative of 'the most broken AAA game of 2015" says a lot more than I ever could.
I dunno, I see plenty of people play like that, some people really struggle with it.They are definitely doing that to demonstrate the framerate.
Use a mouse pad and a high dpi setting? That jerky, lurching camera movement is another reason I really dislike M&KB as a control method.

This is only the tip of the iceberg, I have a feeling I'll be bumping that post regularly.![]()

Holy crap I got Doom-like motion sickness just watching that OP vid
I've got a feeling that (assuming this game isn't actually the most broken game of 2015, lol) you'll be bumping that post at even the most tenuous sign of validation. Your first attempt at it gives me no reason to think otherwise.
I'm now in the same building as OP and can confirm: framerate sucks in there probably due to the many light sources. I'm on Xbox One. Can't post videos as Microsoft doesn't allow to share clips before the official release date.
Ah ok it most likely certain areas then.I'm now in the same building as OP and can confirm: framerate sucks in there probably due to the many light sources. I'm on Xbox One. Can't post videos as Microsoft doesn't allow to share clips before the official release date.
Which trailer was that from ? The only time I remember seeing hat guy was in that E3 reveal by Todd, but in that one he slams the door in his face before he finishes his sentence so you don't see that animation
You realize people have the game already, right?
How about frame drops when scoping? That was more concerning to me.

Just saw the vids in the OP, jesus christ.
That's pretty bad. I still don't even feel confident about switching to PC.
Doesn't the xbox version have full pc mod support? Im pretty sure it does. You probably shouldn't, if there's one version that definitely can't be fixed by outside factors, it's the PC.

Dude if all these frame rate issues / glitches are legit its time to spend some damn money Bethesda and build a new damn engine or license UE4. I dont care how many times they've "rebuilt" and "optimized" the engine. Its still the same jank, game after game. The animations alone are still god awful.
Dont get me wrong I'm excited as hell to play still but god I'm so tired of this engine
That's new for me.

"full" support is stretching it. I expect it to be very simple things like weapons. Even new environments would be a stretch because some of those can be game breaking and led to constant crashing. They're going to have to be very careful in what is allowed to be carried over.
They've been very vague and sparse with what they've actually said about this topic so I would go in with low expectations.
No. It has support for Bethesda approved PC mods. Which will greatly limit which ones you get. Also, the PS4 is supposed to get mods as well, just later. Neither one will have nearly the amount of mods available on PC, simply because bethesda probably won't greenlight mods that negatively impact performance on the consoles.
At first I didn't care about getting fallout 4. But after this hype thread I want to buy it to partake in these conversions!

This is sarcasm.
Performance-enhancing mods probably go too deep for the consoles, it's doubtful even the inevitable script extender will be available for them.
