I spent way too long doing that settlement stuff. But so far so good.

But I've seen a good amount of glitches and it's only been 4-5 hours. So when you use a terminal and there's a chair your character sits in the chair. After I stopped using a terminal my character got stuck IN the chair and I couldn't move. Couldn't jump out either. Had to reload a previous save to get out.

I also had the subtitles get stuck on a single line, and just completely fall behind the spoken dialogue. But then it caught up a few lines of dialogue later

The game also controls really weird with an Xbox One controller. Like... It feels like there's something wrong with my left stick? But there isn't cause I was just playing Halo 5 just fine yesterday.

Those unofficial patches can't come soon enough

Man, the wait to get home from work is killing me!

I have the PS4 version digitally pre-ordered, so I'm just waiting for it to unlock. Of course, I probably won't be able to play it myself, since I have a lot of artwork to do for my comic, so I'm more than likely going to be watching my wife play while I draw. I wasn't able to get her PS4 today, so we'll be sharing the game for a little bit until I can. Maybe I can snag one tomorrow. Even so, I'm so damn busy, I'm not sure when I'll be able to get some game time in anyway. I usually don't get any free game time until the weekend, anyway...

In either case, I'm really looking forward to seeing it in action when it unlocks tonight!

I played a lot of Skyrim, dabbled in Oblivion, and only played a few hours of Fallout 3. I'm not sure what sort of build/class to make. I don't want to get locked out of any quests, or cool stuff. (if that's even possible, I don't know if it is or not)

Does anyone have any tips/good build ideas for me? I'd very much appreciate it.

One thing EVERYONE SHOULD DO when you are done with the prologue, will put it in spoiler so people don't complain it is about your perks really important
when you go back to your home go to the room were your baby was and look under the drawer, you will find the SPECIAL book you might had seen during the prologue it will allow you to assign 1 more point in whatever stat you want
super important do it!!!

Is PS4 digital unlocked yet guys? And if so, does anyone know if you can start playing after the initial 4gigs download? How much can you play? Can you play as it downloads? I am asking because i have such a slow internet connection and it will at least take a day to download the whole game (I am just about to buy it).

How concerned should I be about bugs? Yes I'm familiar with Bethesda games, what I want to know is if the complaints are hyperbole or is it really terrible for even a Bethesda game? My wife was a little worried since she's going to be playing it while I'm at work.

Ok, now I am sitting at 700 lbs out of 285 and can't fast trevel. The worst is that I need all that for settlement and I don't have any outposts nearby. Who would think having such heavy junk in a game about junk collection was such a good idea?

WHOOOOOOOOOOOO?

4 hour 39 min left as of this writing before PSN unlocks in NA.

Now that I've unlocked the settlement, can I dump stuff from my inventory there and leave it?

Am I supposed to use red rocket as a base since it has all the same crafting stuff or was that just a wee tutorial really?

In the settlement can you bulldoze everything and start from scratch? And how do you unlock more advanced things for it?

I realise I'll probably get some of these answers from just playing but I'd like to do some building for a while if it's worth doing.

man is the
museum defense fight totally scripted? That was the craziest shit ever. Attacked by deathclaw..almost dying in my power armor..raiders throw molotvs and hit the deathclaw..it dies..im on my last points of hp and i just unleash on the raiders and a truck explodes behind them wiping them out. I..that was awesome.

Was watching extreme's stream and said they are definitely in, but it didn't seem like anything major.

Here is one question I have, how do you plant food like mutfruit and carrots? I have wild mutfruit and the carrrot flower but it says that I can't plant it because I need the actual item. Can't find carrots anywhere besides the flowers.

Getting a pretty bad terminal bug, most the time after closing out of a terminal my body is stuck and I can't move, super annoying, reloading just replicates the bug.

How are the companions in this game? And are the "evil" or otherwise mean or violent dialogue options fun? Or is a smooth-talking nice charismatic protagonist more viable for interesting dialogue?

Have around 4 hours in ps4 version. I've maybe seen a loading screen a dozen times, and each time it only takes 5-10 seconds. Plus haven't noticed frame drops.

Nothing to complain about here

Yeah that encounter is pretty heavily scripted.

Nope mine went down way differently, but was still excellent!

Yeah, I'm 100% certain it is. I wonder how many of them are in the game

I actually liked the default name Nora so I went with it, yet Codsworth is still calling my character mum? :/

Edit: Nevermind, he just said it

Man something about this game is antihype. I'm in 4 hours and it just feels boring. I did do all luck and haven't found any quests besides the main ones though.

I keep getting stuck subtitles, NPCs skipping lines, and the lip sync is off (looks really bad when working too). Control feel wonky with KB&M also.

So I want to make a character that mostly talks their way through situations, but is capable of a little cold-blooded murder when in the mood. And stealth capability is a must. Does this seem good for a start?

Strength - 3
Perception - 4
Endurance - 4
Charisma - 6
Intelligence - 4
Agility - 5
Luck - 2

I watched the giant bomb quick look and it was so funny every time the mysterious stranger showed up. I've never picked him in previous fallout games, but I think I will this time round.
I lost it when Jeff shouted "What's up!" that one time.

I found quite a few bugs in the vault, mainly radroaches. Those fuckers will sneak up on you so look out. Also watch out for bloatflies in swamps.

Anybody else in Europe buy the na version. I'm pretty sure when I have done this in the past with pre orders it was unlocked at 12am on my UK account.maybe I need to restore my licences...

Ah okay, so I'm guessing what I encountered were some common problems. I tried KB&M a while ago and it felt just as janky if not slightly more so than with my Xbox One controller. Yep, this is a Bethesda game alright.
