One of my bigger gripes believe it or not is the new waiting feature. I have to sit down now, really?
Adds more tension if you can't just wait until morning anytime it gets dark.

9 hours. If my game delivers today that is, which I'm in no way taking as a given. If anybody who ordered from ThatGameCollection could let me know if they get their order today, I'd be grateful.
How much do I need to worry about settlement stats? I have no water in my first one, but also don't have the mats to make a water pump.

Why can't I just sit on the ground?
This dude on twitch has been trying to figure out hacking for like 30 minutes already, and nobody in his chat seems to know how to do it either, its both funny as hell and infuriating.
This game really *really* wants you to play it with a controller doesn't it?
A little better than Mario Galaxy but not as good as Tetris.
Seriously, that question.
Decided to re-roll my char. Needs a better face.

if you try to leave the neighbourhood or walk past the army vehicles the nuke immediately detonates.
Got about 7 hours in. Mechanically it's better than both Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Guns shoot better, the enemies actually react sensibly to you, there are enemies that actually move pretty damned quickly, stimpaks can't be abused easily, and vats isn't a magic bullet anymore(if you don't have the right perks/stats anyway). The settlement stuff is interesting, plus the character creator is actually pretty good.
That being said, the role-playing elements are much worse than even Fallout 3. When you're given dialogue options(4 dialogue options), they're one to three words, and your character normally gives 1-4 sentences for each choice. So you have absolutely no way of knowing what the hell your character is going to say based on the options presented. As for leveling up, you get 1 choice per level on whether to take a perk or increase a stat, and leveling up has no other effect.
Overall, I'm liking the game despite the flaws.
Radiation in your ass
Check your questlog, maybe it was marked solved without you noticing it. That is what happened to me. I also searched the perimeter for an hour or so before noticing that it was actually solved in the initial battle. >_>So, does anyone else have an issue with the "When Freedom Calls", where you can't get past the "Kill all enemies" requirement? I have searched high and low and can not find anything enemies still alive inside or outside of the Museum, killed all the grunts, Death Claw, and guy with name.
Is there some enemy that is easy to overlook?
Game makes a far better impression in its opening hours than the other fallout games, there's no doubt about that.
Workshop control on pc is extremely clunky. I feel like the AI is extremely off in this game. Enemies and friendly people just end up staring at the wall a lot of the time, hell people idle looking at the wall, and even start talking to you staring at the wall. It's extremely off putting.
What Do you mean by heal all the way?How do you heal all the way?
Really? Afight in the very first big firefight? This is fucked. How am I supposed to kill this thing when even theDeathclawbarely scratches him?minigun

I saw in the mod thread that you can hit ~ to bring up the console and type something like "player.modav carryweight 10000" to effectively do this. I don't know if there's a way to do it from a config file.Someone please make a mod that makes on materials weight nothing.
Settings -> Gameplay. You can change it at any time. When do you select difficulty level?
I only managed 45mins before work, and just left the vault, but didn't see any difficulty selection?!

So the game looks surprisingly decent maxed out on PC. Honestly I was expecting a LOT worse. The sense of atmosphere in the game is phenomenal.
Also 2 hours in and already absolutely in love with the game.
