Theres a walk button. You can lock it too, which you probably did. Unsure how to do this on a console since I've been using kb/m (not on console for once, feels weird!) but on that it's caps lock.

RIP
Info please

thanks I will boot it back up and check.

Huh. What's with that random event where
A guy is holding a gun up to a clone that looks like him?
I resolved it, but all I got was a thanks. Maybe it comes up later? Seemed really weird.
I came across this too, as I was heading north from the Corvair plant. It was under a bridge.
I talked to the guy I saved and he said thanks for saving me from that "thing" and now my kids don't have to grow up orphaned. They were both named Art. I think the one with the gun was a synth attempting to assume the identity of the other guy. I assume it is part of a multi-part quest, or it's just flavour. I tried to reload my save to see how it would play out if you don't intervene, but I couldn't get them to reappear.

Did anyone else encounter this or see this character again later?

One of the funniest things for me in a long time.
Got to some Brotherhood of Steel settlement and 1 guy guards it with power armor and makes a cocky comment.
Pickpocket his power core and he just steps out of the armor and continues to shit talk like nothing happened.

I love the DJ. You have to kind of listen to a lot of college radio to really get it though. I imagine he's a lot like what you'd get from the MIT radio late nite shows

Ran into my first Legendary Enemy. It was a raider. He dropped a
blue baseball bat that does double damage on crits and fills the meter faster.
Which is actually useless for my playstyle because I don't use VATS or melee. But it's still neat.

Really? That seems like a really stupid oversight. Good to know.
It's not true, don't start manually scrapping everything
If it's the place I think you're talking about,
I found the code in the room with the Legendary Radroach.
I didn't have one of those. :( There was a room with a bunch of radroaches in it, and a briefcase with an
Intel Room Key. That unlocked a door that had some good loot and a comic to increase stealth in it. But still nothing that seemed to allow me to be "authorized personnel" for the terminal. I'll have to go back and look.

Early game side area (
Satellite Dish by Tenpines Bluff
) spoilers if anyone is able to help

Man, playing on Survivor is kicking my ass.

Everything is scarce as hell, except for weapons, but they don't get me much of anything either. Shop exchange rate is like 10 or more to 1. I got the armorer perk so now I have like 50 armor, but everything outside of regular raiders/molerats/roaches/etc. are straight up terrifying.

I did notice something odd. I went back to Concord to try to find some aluminum (which apparently there is NONE anywhere in the town) and all the safes, doors, trunks, computer terminals were all re-locked and re-stocked. Raiders were back alive again too. I don't remember that happening in a major area like that in previous games. The enemies respawning makes sense, but not the loot/doors.

Wait, wait, you can pickpocket fusion cores? This changes everything!

Hmm, weird, I thought I found everything in that area, must've missed that terminal.

Random question, does the dog count as a companion? And is it ok to leave him at the base? I'm getting tired of having to bail him out of situations. lol

What do you guys think about the models for the ghouls and super mutants in this game? I think the ghouls look great, but I'm not really digging the way super mutants look. They don't look as opposing as they did in 3. Smaller size, more man-like faces (gimme back dem lip-less faces).

It's right in the center room where I fought the
Raider with the minigun. It seems to be connected to the satellite dish itself and I remember at least one of the options says "Database Access: Offine"

As much hate as the textures get (rightfully so), I have to say Boston on the whole looks beautiful. Staring out over a distance is where the visuals shine. I finished up my 5 story tower and was taking in the sights from the balcony. Speaking of which, 5 floors seems to be the max for building. You get a "Leaving the area" message if you go for a 6th.

I am VERY early on in the game. I literally just walked over to the Red Rocket gas station by Concorde and met a friendly pooch. There are a couple of things that the game doesn't really explain very well about the workshops.

When you activate workshop mode, it seems like you can just start breaking everything down in sight to get raw materials. Is that really what you want to do?

So weird all the sudden when I walk it is like I am in muck. I have over 60lbs free in my storage and I haven't changed clothes. If I sprint it is fast or otherwise it is super slow. I even tried using a lighter gun but it isn't doing anything. ThoughtS?

Your leg(s) might be broken.

Don't know if its just on XB1, but the controls are very clunky.

It's the crappy engine. Bethesda games have always been clunky to control. I've been switching between BF4 and F4 and the difference is staggering. Movement in F4 feels very straight and rigid, and the input lag doesn't help, while BF4 feels fluid and precise, like I have way more control over the sticks.

Sure, unless there's something you actually want to keep in place.

I just want to say screw Bethesda. Screw Bethesda for making a game SO addicting. I have been playing for over 10 hours and I haven't even left Sanctuary Hills yet. Too busy turning the town into a settlement. This game owns me and my free time.

Best Buy really fucked up. My copy won't be coming until tomorrow! I drove to the store and bought one and will return the one that ultimately arrives, but 2 days late on a preorder is absolutely ridiculous. Especially since the shipping is a "benefit" of GCU. Will definitely be looking for some sort of recompense for this.

How do i tell my companion to get out of my power armor? Stole a raider power armor and told my guy to told to take my power armor so they wouldnt take it. the minuteman guy refuses to take the "stolen" armor and didnt like that i stole from raiders... God damn dick head. Game shouldnt count it as stealing when you take from raiders

So I just got this random mission failed message. I guess I picked up a mission that was time sensitive, but I didn't remember.

Have any of you guys done said mission and did I screw myself out of something?
