Borderlands 4 |OT| It's about time. Literally.

Not according to Nyriad's Eridian Slabs in BL3 (specifically "Knotted" and "Burden"). The powers never change. That's how she's an ancient Phaseleech and yet we have Tyreen in BL3 who has the exact same powers as her literal eons later, and Tyreen's inheritance of them was completely random based on Typhon's logs.
Not sure. It's convoluted. There is also the 7th Siren to think about Nyriad mentions. And that it should never be found. I'd like to think that it's likely Eridian in origin and is framed as a warning more then anything else.

I think it's clear that Vex is based on being an Empath(animals, clones) and has nothing to do with Phaseleech if we are to assume Siren powers are fixed.

Which would mean that we have

Lilith
Tannis
Amara
Ava
Vex
Phaseleech Successor
7th

Unless they plan on the 6th VH being a Phaseleech Siren it brings up the question of who was the Siren that died that gave Vex her latent abilities.

Twice now it happened that all my skill points were reset, so I can allocate them again.... basically for free. Hey I'm not complaining because I actually wanted to try out the other two powers of the Forgeknight. Been using Calamity since day one and definitely curious about the other two.

But is this a bug?

Borderlands 4 is a legit good game and ione that I am glad I got to play and while I can get it to play just fine on my 4090. The performance still sucks.

Not to mention I get very nasty ghosting when DLSS is enabled, eventhough it uses the vaunted DLSS4.

I have played for 105 hours and I have not ONCe seen a fucking airship spawn. is there some sort of trick/hack to get it to spawn. I see rift bosses all the fucking time. Same with the Creep Impact. I have not seen this one time.

This is seriously retarded that these events dont spawn.

So have they fixed the memory leak and performance degrading issues?

Thinking of picking it up again for the December lul period.

Played the shit out of the PC version. About 100hours. This was they glitchiest game of the bunch. So many bugs so much shader stuttering. Hard to imagine BL4 and Arc Raiders are on the same engine.

Alright gonna start this again tomorrow. Based on some googling, it seems like the Siren is considered the best solo class.

Last time I started with the guy who throws axes and there really wasn't there much for solo survive-ability there, hoping Siren is better for solo.

Ok, yes. Siren is definitely the class to play Solo. I might have not put the game down originally if I had started as Siren.

You basically get a free co-op partner who tanks, attacks and distracts enemies with you all the time and you can 'upgrade' him over levels along with yourself, too.

Maybe placebo but it feels like I'm not noticing any performance leakage related drops after an hour or so of play. Plus, no real drop in performance noted increasing the FoV from the game's default 70 to 90*.

Playing on SX.

So you do have a companion, because thats why i chose Vex because she has a dog as a partner but i don't know if the other vault hunters have a companion.

Yeah, the axe guy's action skill is just throwing axes or something like that iirc

Siren's action abilities is infinitely better for solo players.

I have a hard time believing its considered better than Ranger RAFA. I made it through UVH5 with this build pretty easily.

This build absolutely SHREDS.

Although you absolutely need a specific class mod for it to be worthwhile.

Performance today is much improved over release (XSX) - looks like they got the leak (or majority of leaks). Doesn't hurt to restart it now and again though.

I got quite near the end (I was level 38), but felt it beginning to drag, and I was several levels below the enemies. Couldn't be arsed with any of the side missions to try and level up, so finally dropped it.

It was good, but not a fan of the massive semi-open world. Take those safe houses as soon as you can to avoid length traversals!

Can't believe things like the propaganda side activities are still busted this far after release.

The progress bar never increases and the enemy waves keep respawning infinitely.

Still trucking along. Vex's solo focused abilities are really making it a lot more enjoyable though there are some glaring issues with the game.

For one, the side quest characters talk too fucking much.

And running into another weird issue, the game seems to run fine but sometimes the cut-scenes start and feel like they';re running at 10fps for half a minute before stabilizing.
