I'm going to do my predictions now I guess. Probably going to be way off base like usual but it's fun so whatever lol.
-Talk about upcoming holiday titles (Xenoblade, Mario Tennis, maybe Animal Crossing even though it drops tomorrow)
-During the Mario Tennis segment, they will announce continual updates for the game in the same vein as Splatoon -- if not that, then paid DLC since Camelot has a precedent for it with Mario Golf World Tour.
-During the Xenoblade segment they may also talk about the DLC for that game since iirc it has not been mentioned in a English Direct yet and the game comes out next month so... yeah.
-At the end of this segment, Minecraft Wii U Edition is announced with amiibo support. Amiibos unlock Minecraft skins of the character you scan in (so Mario amiibo = Mario Minecraft skin). Can be downloaded right after the Direct.
-After the above, Splatoon new free update which features Octolings. Available after the Direct or tomorrow night.
-Super Mario Maker new DLC/free update. Available after the Direct or tomorrow/next week.
-Smash will get a new patch that fixes Tourney Mode, giving the player more options (such as setting it for 1 vs 1). Tournament Mode will still be an online only mode because the creation tools for Tournament Mode are not available to us anyway (would be glad to be proven wrong though). The new patch will include compatibility for the new DLC that will drop featuring at least one new character, a new stage (whether a classic stage or a new stage for a new character), and more Mii costumes. Available after the Direct or later tonight.
-After the above, Holiday 2015 is basically done unless they want to cover Devil's Third for a little bit.
-Talk about some 3DS games, like Paper Jam and Fire Emblem Fates (give release dates?) Hyrule Warriors Legends gets a new trailer showing a new character(s) with a release date/month. Should be focused on already announced 3DS games coming in Q1/Q2.
-Star Fox Zero gets a new trailer with a release date set and the amiibo is announced along with what it does for SF0.
-Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games will get a release date and new trailer.
-Genei Ibun Roku #FE will get its English name and a new trailer giving a release month (or if we're lucky release date).
-Pokken Tournament will get a new trailer showing a new character and a solid release month (it will likely be the May 2016 game)
-One new 3DS game will be announced for Spring 2016.
-Twilight Princess HD will be the last thing shown as the big surprise announcement much like MM3D last year (or was MM3D at the beginning last year? I forget). It will release in February and be the start of celebrating Zelda's 30th anniversary (unless Hyrule Warriors Legends releases before then).
For the most part I'm pretty confident in the order of how the beginning of the Direct will go but after the Holiday 2015 titles segment all of those predictions can go in any order really. I just put them in a certain order because, ideally, that's how I would do it if it were me running the Direct.
