Nintendo Direct coming November 12 [Over]

Off topic: are you going to do all emojis from Triforce Heroes! I love it.

Sure! This is for your help on the topic of Smash-Bros when I didn't have a neogaf account :D (I'm Clipse from SmashBros-Miiverse ;) )

I love that you need to add a disclaimer to your posts xD

I'd love not doing it, but I even have to when I theorise.

Last year, I put forth a theory on here about how we'd get this year off of main games and when I thought we'd get a new game (February 2016 was my bet, with an Autumn 2015/World Championships reveal). People went crazy with that, took it as me "leaking" and when it came out to not be, I started getting abuse because of it by some people :(

So hyped. Only 8 and a half hours left, give me that TPHD goodness.

Stop using TPHD I keep thinking it's "Tony Hawks Pro Skater HD" when skimming despite missing two letters ;-;

I DO hope for a Federation Force segment though. It desperately needs a new trailer but I'm actually one of the only ones that really enjoyed the whole thing. I'm new to the Metroid series and all that, so I wasn't 'waiting', but unless a game is out I don't really 'wait' for any, even if I have hopes for sequels.

I am kinda curious about this. It's been quite a while and they have a chance to 'come back with a bang' so to speak. Kinda like....''Hey guys, it's been a while and we are back and here is what we have to offer.'' Would be awesome if that's indeed HD remasters of Mario Sunshine and Twilight Princess.'' or is that rumour already debunked?

I agree, plus none of us has actually played the game. I remember positive feedback from the press at E3 but I might be wrong. I call it "EXPECTATIONS".

Those who played it at E3 said the game played well and it was fun. It may not be the Metroid Prime everyone expected or wanted, but people should give it a chance and wait for more footage and impressions to be shared.

So who gets revealed today?
K. Rool
Wolf
Wonder red
Ridley

If any of them, Wolf, but he'll coincide with Star fox zero, I think. If not, then his amiibo will.

Only reason he'd be coming out now would be because now was the INITIAL star fox zero launch window.

3DS isn't where I want a Nintendo co-op shooter either. Never in the history of handhelds have FPS games ruled the roost or won significant critical acclaim - but on a home console it would have stood a chance.

Blast ball could have been Nintendo's Rocket League. Federation Force could have been a sci-fi alternative to Splatoon, or a co-op campaign as good as Gears or something.

Instead, its a chibi game on a 240p handheld that nobody asked for.

I trust Next Level, so I've no doubt it will play amazingly and people will be eating mountains of crow, but I blame Nintendo for not making a better business decision.

He was revealed by Nintendo before the game even came out though.

Please explain how this means it is a leak.

A leak means it was revealed NOT BY NINTENDO. A fan, an insider, someone who datamined the game, ANYONE.

If nintendo is the first to announce something, regardless of WHEN they announce it, then it is NOT a leak.

You're in the minority on this forum mate.

Personally I hope it's alive, but fix that fucking art style.

Expecting a change in the art style at this stage is nonsensical. Budget has been closed, assets are finalized, engine is up and running and the core base of the game is carved on stone... I could give you dozens of reasons of why it will not happen. They could tweak here and there but nothing beyond that.

Let's accept it as it is, for good or bad. I personally expect NLG to try their best and I know they will.

That sucks. You're a cool guy, I'd hate to see you forced to stop posting by ignorant idiots.

Na it's fine. It's expected for someone in my position in the community, always going to have people who hate me. Just better to have the disclaimer.

I'll never stop posting!

It is funny to see all the Federation Force talk. I think it is nice they aren't forgetting about the franchise, but it is a shame the franchise isn't what it once was (like Paper Mario).

He'll be a toon link and you know it. Same specials, varied normals, floatier physics.
I wish toon link had his own specials ;_; Same with dorf

I don't really see how Paper Mario could be a clone of anyone, let alone Mario. The closest character to how Paper Mario should work is Ice Climbers with their quick hammer attacks.

Smash has a built in charge system for Smash attacks as well, so I'd expect charging Smashes to incorporate Paper Mario's unique attack mechanics with meters and good timing and stuff.

This. They knocked LM2 out the park, what's to stop them doing the same here?

are you talking about luigi's mansion 2? boy that game is like the most repetitive garbage there is and I usually defend repetition but it is usually because the gameplay is good. but LM2 is just tiresome. after about half-way thru - everything is the damn same. I think I got to the last world and just walked away. grrrrrrrrrr. been holding that in for a while.

I know, I'm joking. Can't have paper mario without paper moves and his hammer, that's for sure.

I'll be at the movies during the Direct, going to Regression with Emma Watson in it, looks pretty cool. I'll watch it directly when I come home though. Two things to look foward to tonight :D

TPHD hype!

Because Virtual Console titles and Wii titles aren't typically Direct's contents unless it's a new console on the VC.

Besides, that actually makes sense only for the US. European and Japanese Wii VC catalogues are fine, so it would be pointless to discuss them at the global Direct.
