Nintendo Direct coming November 12 [Over]

My biggest wish is Bomberman in Smash. I will scream out of the window.

Voted for Wonderman but also wanna see this dude.

Feels like the only person asking tho

I wonder if it's time for those Luigi's Mansion 2 and Kid Icarus: Uprising Wii U ports yet.

Oh, Pikmin 4. If it's for Wii U maybe we'll see a glimpse.

Thing that would be weird but i'd like to see: Old games getting updated with amiibo support for no reason.

Sakura samurai from eshop

Pikmin is always one I thought would work, literally just have related items/the amiibos themselves appear as treasures to be collected

I really hate when OPs make a thread and don't update it with new information. A mod should add the countdown to the OP.

@maxcriden you were junior'd too? :P

Now that most of the "leaks" have finished, I'll make my predictions for the Direct!

-Opens with Smash News, Wolf returns, DLC amiibos and announcement of the ballot winner.
Wonder Red
-Info on Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam. New trailer with release window, hopefully March.
-#FE trailer with explanation of battle system, release window, Quarter 2.
-Amiibo party info. Upcoming Amiibo.
-Ultra Smash, new game mode and character.
-Twilight Princess HD. Coming in February.
-Nindies.
-FE Fates info, February release.
-Pokken Fighters and Super Mystery Dungeon.
-Mario Kart 8 DLC!
-Minecraft Wii U.

You should view this as Next Level Game's next project, this is the game they have been working on after Luigi's Mansion 2. I will use the way they handled the task of making a Luigi's Mansion for 3DS and its critical success as my frame of reference for judging Federation Force. I don't see this as "the next Metroid"

eh...it still doesn't excite me. I'd rather have a new Mario Strikers.

Gimme the C stick functionality and proper touch/submenu controls in OoT 3D.

Would be great if that was *THE* zelda reveal for this direct. Cue zelda music, cue aonuma, and say "i have something exciting to share, please take a look" *snap* OoT3D C stick controls. Talk 5 minutes about how it makes the game easier and how you can look around. Cut to next game.

eh...it still doesn't excite me. I'd rather have a new Mario Strikers.

What if federation force had a soccer mode where... crap.

I'm going to do my predictions now I guess. Probably going to be way off base like usual but it's fun so whatever lol.

-Talk about upcoming holiday titles (Xenoblade, Mario Tennis, maybe Animal Crossing even though it drops tomorrow)

-During the Mario Tennis segment, they will announce continual updates for the game in the same vein as Splatoon -- if not that, then paid DLC since Camelot has a precedent for it with Mario Golf World Tour.

-During the Xenoblade segment they may also talk about the DLC for that game since iirc it has not been mentioned in a English Direct yet and the game comes out next month so... yeah.

-At the end of this segment, Minecraft Wii U Edition is announced with amiibo support. Amiibos unlock Minecraft skins of the character you scan in (so Mario amiibo = Mario Minecraft skin). Can be downloaded right after the Direct.

-After the above, Splatoon new free update which features Octolings. Available after the Direct or tomorrow night.

-Super Mario Maker new DLC/free update. Available after the Direct or tomorrow/next week.

-Smash will get a new patch that fixes Tourney Mode, giving the player more options (such as setting it for 1 vs 1). Tournament Mode will still be an online only mode because the creation tools for Tournament Mode are not available to us anyway (would be glad to be proven wrong though). The new patch will include compatibility for the new DLC that will drop featuring at least one new character, a new stage (whether a classic stage or a new stage for a new character), and more Mii costumes. Available after the Direct or later tonight.

-After the above, Holiday 2015 is basically done unless they want to cover Devil's Third for a little bit.

-Talk about some 3DS games, like Paper Jam and Fire Emblem Fates (give release dates?) Hyrule Warriors Legends gets a new trailer showing a new character(s) with a release date/month. Should be focused on already announced 3DS games coming in Q1/Q2.

-Star Fox Zero gets a new trailer with a release date set and the amiibo is announced along with what it does for SF0.

-Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games will get a release date and new trailer.

-Genei Ibun Roku #FE will get its English name and a new trailer giving a release month (or if we're lucky release date).

-Pokken Tournament will get a new trailer showing a new character and a solid release month (it will likely be the May 2016 game)

-One new 3DS game will be announced for Spring 2016.

-Twilight Princess HD will be the last thing shown as the big surprise announcement much like MM3D last year (or was MM3D at the beginning last year? I forget). It will release in February and be the start of celebrating Zelda's 30th anniversary (unless Hyrule Warriors Legends releases before then).

For the most part I'm pretty confident in the order of how the beginning of the Direct will go but after the Holiday 2015 titles segment all of those predictions can go in any order really. I just put them in a certain order because, ideally, that's how I would do it if it were me running the Direct. :p

Hmm, let's see:

Hoping for:

- New Star Fox footage
- FE x SMT get's an official name for the western release and a date (or quarter)
- Some news about the new Zelda. Just a little bit would suffice.
- No more Xenoblade footage. Seriously, stop spoiling everything.
- New Splatoon stuff would be nice!
- Character reveal Smash
- I would love a Twilight Princess remaster but doubt it.

I hope at least some of this will be happening. Let's also hope they won't talk to much about Mario tennis. That would make me a sad panda.

Prediction: Affordable Space Adventure's free DLC levels get mentioned.

Haha don't feel awkward. If you're not part of the Pokémon community, then all I am is an outspoken Nintendo fan :p

Yeah, that's probably true.^^ Though I was a huge Pokémon fan during the first two generations; almost had and played every game. I had to skip the third generation though (at least the main game), because I didn't own a GBA and by the time Pearl and Diamond were released it lost some of its magic for me.

Still a huge Nintendo fan, though; so that we have in common. :P

I would totally die for a new, more extensive Pokémon Snap... Especially with Bellossom in it. <3

Twitch, Youtube, Nintendo's website. The same for any country. (Except Germany fot YT)

And everyone in Germany should just use ProxFlow and enjoy it on YT as well.^^

Expecting a change in the art style at this stage is nonsensical. Budget has been closed, assets are finalized, engine is up and running and the core base of the game is carved on stone... I could give you dozens of reasons of why it will not happen. They could tweak here and there but nothing beyond that.

Let's accept it as it is, for good or bad. I personally expect NLG to try their best and I know they will.

Don't you remember Jet Force Gemini? It could happen again (not that I want it to happen but it could).

I keep forgetting that he exist and I love samurai and I own the game.

Underappreciated character from underappreciated game. Nintendo should work with Grounding more often.

I got a feeling this direct will deliver!

Coming beforehand and putting down the hype for NX and mobile has me curious on the bombs they could have in store for Wii U and 3ds especially considering the Iwata sad news and it being so long since the last one.
Be cautious tho. Never expect too much from any company.

Prediction: Affordable Space Adventure's free DLC levels get mentioned.

Death of Rats! I miss you Terry...

I still need to get Affordable Space myself, game looks amazing.

For the Smash Ballet winner/s I would like Nintendo to keep with their epic history and announce characters like Simon Belmont, Bomberman and even Goeman! But wouldn't complain at all if Wonder Red, Shovel Knight and/or Viewtiful Joe turned up.

That's the one surprise announcement that would really excite me more than anything. I love the Strikers series.

NLG is working on Metroid though and they've never really been known to have two games being developed at the same time and then released in the same year. Maybe prototypes and such but not two full games. Strikers' ship has sailed for this gen I'm pretty sure anyway. They had their chance last year but they went with NLG making a spin-off Metroid game.
