Though, he didn't state the type of love.
Also, I started playing Tales of the Abyss. I feel like the first hour of the game exists to ground in what a huge idiot the main character is. He's just a total idiot. An understandable one, but still.

Also, the characters learn new attacks in battle. They learn them and immediately use them.

That's awesome.

Tales of the Abyss is pretty good. I was pretty mixed on the characters, but I liked the story enough.

The 1st third of Abyss is about how big of an idiot Luke is. The later 2/3rds is about how big of an idiot the rest of the cast are.

It's actually a lot more fun than I thought it would be when I got it. The fights get really awesome and creative.

Persona 4 the animation, even if a bit outdated, would really work for Toonami IMO
 
Btooom! being basically Battle Royale but everyone has grenades & a dash of SAO (the "game" is based on a video game which the main MC is good at, but amazingly his game skills don't fully transfer over to real life), I feel like that MIGHT have some kind of chance of being on, now that Sentai's on board? It's only 12 episodes (covering about 50 chapters), so it's not very long.

......though that freakin' name. That's really the only stand-out show from them I feel has one of the best chances from Sentai at this point.
 
No Infinite Stratos please. I like harem shows, but this is The exception and it deserves all the shit and hate. Even I have my limits.
 
Sentai even makes screenshots ahead of time for people to livetweet with for their Toonami shows. They seem eager to put their dubs on TV.

Not sure about Black Bullet.

Persona 4 anime did a fine job. The only replacement was Naoto because of scheduling conflicts if I'm not mistaken.

I bought Knights of Sidonia really cheap at a con a few months back. Haven't watched it yet.

I thought Queen's Blade was dubbed by Funimation. And that was one of a few shows where I thought it would never get localized. Boy, I was proven wrong.

For whatever reason I hated the HOTD dub. There was something about it that was off.

LOL Qwaser. That will never get an English audio. Queen's Blade was already the extreme limit, lol.

Kampfer dub would be hilarious.

Cast Bryce in Dungeon.

Oh man, I miss s-CRY-ed back in ASA. That shit needs to be Toonamified. Has Steve Blum and Crispin Freeman in it.

For some reason, Funimation has like, the first season or two of Queen's Blade while Sentai has the rest. Kind of how Sentai has P4 Animation, but Aniplex (WHO DIDN'T EVEN DUB IT) has P4 Golden Animation. But otherwise, probably one of the better video game to anime adaptations.

Think part of the problem with HSotD''s dub was really random & out-of-place internet references. Why the hell was "i like turtles" a line??! Also worth mentioning it was the same ADR Director as some ADV titles, mainly Ghost Stories, which explains some of it.

Damn, I would've laughed so hard to hear a Qwaser dub.
 
That's never going to happen man. That shit is like "Online store only" type of sale. The only way I would rewatch it, IF at all, would be if Funi dubbed it, and even then, yeah, I'm with you... I would be too busy laughing.

I'm okay with no Golden. I hate Marie.
 
Knights of Sidonia's dub is world class...because it was paid for by Netflix.

S-cry-d also has an amazing dub...because it was done by Bandai of America.

Yeah, there's a pattern here.

Speaking of actually watching anime, I just plowed through DRRR and Seven Deadly Sins over the past month or so. Two shows with good dubs.

SDS is like a less lewd, weirdly drawn version of Fairy Tail.
 
Persona 4 the animation has a good dub... but all the VO came from the game and they're familiar with the roles. Can't give Sentai too much credit.

Fairy Tail is like soft-core porn half the time, then a third of the time it's bondage porn. It's almost a regular manga the rest of the time.

The character associated with lust doesn't appear until late in the series. Maybe. I don't really have down which character matches to which.

Anyway, in terms of lewdness, the main character molests the lead female often.

Is Lucy involved somehow? Then it is porn. If not it is your run of the mill Shonen.

Poor Lucy. Set up as the female protagonist and then gets subjected to getting her clothes torn off all the time. It really is gross and makes me glad I dropped it when I did.

Pretty sure Lucy gets nude more than the character whose whole gimmick is going nude.

In the maybe final arc she even
is forced to get completely nude and take a bath with the most powerful female antagonist in the series. Why? Because villain chick basically says "I could one shot you so get in with me and I'll let you live" our heroine/pov character!

As a P4 fan, I would be fine with this however I've not seen more than the first two episodes so I don't know how good the actual anime adaption is.

Looking at Sentai's library, they really come across as the provider of C-Tier or lower shows. :p
