You're now a Single Issue Voter. What is it?

So say you woke up the next day, and you could only fixate on one political issue. What impacts you the most? You don't have to say who you're voting for, but what is it that you feel is of the utmost importance?

Where I'm at in my life, I feel like free college education / trade school should be the absolute priority. If the government couldn't get along over anything else, I'd like to see a more educated population that isn't drowning in debt. What say you Gaf?

I feel like with increased education, we could fill in some of these high skill jobs, and hopefully gain a more knowledgeable understanding of how screwed up the political system is, which would hopefully correct many things for future generations, though the current is probably screwed for a while.

Educational funding (k-12, as well as higher learning). Both because I work in education, and I think education is pertinent in solving, or at least helping, with a lot of other issues.

Probably nuclear energy?
Not that there's anybody who actually promises anything on that front.

So, wealth redistribution. I'll vote whoever wants to tax the rich the hardest, up to and including 70%.

Campaign finance reform/non-partisan redistricting.

No other issue would have as big an effect on improving the political climate and helping solve most other issues than this.

Climate change and pollution which is related to that. Get away from coal for energy and oil for cars. This would be something billions of people would get better from in decades to come. Would also open up a lot of infrastructure projects for jobs if it is taken on in a major way.

Or income inequality. If the under and middle class got its fair share of the wealth, a lot of issues could be solved.

Climate change. No other issue can be considered even remotely important if we don't have a planet to live on, basically.

Removing big money from politics. I feel like getting that one done could have a nice ripple effect on other changes that need to happen.

Wealth/income inequality. It is the single most important issue in this country today. It effects the most people and it ties in with basically every other issue. Wealth inequality ties in to education, health care, crime, environment, immigration, etc.

Income inequality is the first that came to my mind.

Education and Climate Change are hard to pass up though.

We really do face some major issues.
