Kind of a different situation here. And technically, she didn't really leave on her own accord and even went on to beg for them to save her.

No it doesn't. Robin never disrespected the captain or left the crew on a whim for frivolous reasons. Completely different circumstances.
And, for that matter, if you remember, Zoro was neutral with regards to what went down with Robin when they lacked information (as opposed to being in gung ho "let's go save her!" mode) and considered it highly probable that she was an enemy at first.
