At this point I'm more concerned about missing out on Fire Emblem Fates SE. BB will honor those $80 orders.
I know this is true for Amazon, didn't know it was true for Best buy too. Interesting.
I went to bed early because I wasn't having any of this. I've done enough up-late F5ing these past 12 months.
Best Buy order is at $79.99 so I don't think it'll change. Still, I was apprehensive paying this much for an enhanced version.
Yeah, otherwise our e3 preorders would get shafted by the price hikes. Doesn't happen.
Best Buy will look at the the price when you ordered, and the price when it releases and have you pay the lowest of the both. They won't take into account any pricedrops that may have happened temporarily between the time you preordered and it released, which is what amazon does.
Amazon's system is better but Best Buy's is not bad.

Could be that they're trying to protect themselves when the CAD falls to $0.65 USD in a few months.

The price increases on TP HD make me actually want to cancel my Amazon order. I don't even like Zelda that much or Twilight Princess that much.

Guess it's getting more and more likely that I'm keeping my FE SE from the US Gamestop. I'm guessing they will charge a premium for it too since supplies will be low and they can get away with it. It's now completely sold out from retailers in the US and they will probably send scraps here.

Went to Best Buy today and was hoping to update people on the 3DS sales but it's just disappointing instead: Checked online to make sure the games mentioned were in stock, I'm thinking it's all good.. checked my local store, and when I got there... no copies in sight :/. Hopefully other people have better luck.

Was just at the Brantford Best Buy and can confirm that at least Legend of Legacy comes up at $20.97, but ONLY at checkout when the cashier went to method of payment. They didn't have any on the shelf, the rep had to grab one from lock up.

Ask them to cancel a game from your e3 order and have the discount applied to a different game. It's worked for me twice now.

So I preordered the placeholder Fire Emblem Fates on Bestbuy.ca during the recent 20% off 2+ pre-orders event. I figured that they would switch the game to conquest or birthright when the official release date was revealed. Now Conquest and Birthright are available for preorder ahead of the Feb release, and Bestbuy.ca still has the placeholder Fire Emblem Fates listed as Dec 31st 2016.
Am I going to have my pre-order cancelled? Should I be calling in to get them to switch the game to conquest? Will that even work?
