Hey guys, how do refunds work with Paypal if I return in store? My credit card is expiring before some of these release, and I'm wondering if it would be easier just to use Paypal.
 
Not falling for Amazon, they've burned me too many times, even if a few games are $5 cheaper.

Anyway, pre-orders done at Best Buy!

Order #1:

Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest
Dragon Quest VII
Dragon Quest VIII

Order #2:

Twilight Princess HD
Mega Man Legacy Collection
One Piece: Burning Blood
Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem
Final Fantasy Explorers

I made two orders, the first with three games I'm definitely purchasing, and another with some of the "maybe". Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely getting SMT x FE and TP HD, but I'll probably cancel them if a special edition is announced somewhere else [for the bonus items]. MMLC, OP:BB, and FFE, I'm not sure on. Order #2 is there in case there are...complications, kind of like a safety net if they can't cancel an individual item. Or I could just get them sent out and then return in-store.

The refund goes to your PayPal balance, and you can draw it down from there.
 
I ain't seeing the discount apply in BC. Maybe it will past midnight?

Did you checkout? For some reason it doesn't show in the cart for me but it shows when I check out with 2 games or more.

Too bad, I was hoping for that and the CE of Mighty No 9 for the PS4, they only have it for the Xbox one
 
Warning to BB pre-orderers (new word?), Final Fantasy VII Remake doesn't appear to work with the 30% deal. It's still showing as $79.99 in checkout while the others are showing the discounted price.

i just got in again for the BB one. got one when it was 79, and not when its 69
if you don't end up getting one, i'll sell one to you, since you're from TO :P
 
Well I guess everything turned out fine for the Conquest version of Fates with both games at 30% off (the other one was Birthright's E3 discount). Now if only Persona 5 or Fates' Special Edition would go up on Amazon...
 
Went with Best Buy. No regrets. I didn't have any issues with Amazon delaying games at launch until the last couple of months, but it's soured me on using them now.

BB will price protect the actual price, but not the 30% discount

with Amazon they'll drop the base price to whatever and then take the 30% off of that when the game ships

You're locked into your price with BB. If Zelda for example drops to $69.99 they won't give you 30% off $69.99 but Amazon will.

With that said Amazon doesn't have Zelda available and the only other game I want is Mirror's Edge on PC and not even that is included. I hate dealing with BB but what can you do.

I'm stuck at BB and Amazon confirmation clicks, can't decide, haha. The deciding factor: is Best Buy actually that much better with their delivery? I noticed every time with new releases in this thread they were more consistent. But at the same time, price fluctuations...
 
I'm seeing the discount on both DQ 3DS games but not for Persona 5 and #FE. Help?

Can't find the two things I want on the same retailer. I only want the Cold Steel LE and DQVII T.T

Already have the Fire Emblem SE preordered at Gamestop and the Cold Steel LE at EBgames.

I had the exact same order from Amazon placed when they had their previous 15% off pre-orders, but I cancelled it to take advantage of the 30% off. And I needed a quick filler item for Digimon since Amazon still hasn't re-opened their pre-orders for it.

So glad that both sites did the 30% off.
 
Can't even order on Best Buy because the "Order" button doesn't want to appear. What a terrific website.
