They were obviously fishing for it.

Didn't look like an SMG to me. That big barrel makes me think it's some kinda science thing.

Also, agreed that the editing is a bit odd, they're probably still mixing things up to keep from showing scenes as they're intended. This is the second time we've heard the "greatest lie in American history" line, the first time ended entirely differently.

Obviously has kryptonite in it.

I was a bit worried about Luthor in the last trailer but my fears are gone, that was awesome. This whole week has just been amazing.

Just as I predicted in several threads in the past, WW is going to have the biggest "Wow" moments in this movie. This trailers essentially confirmed it.

WB is sitting on a goldmine with the character.

Did people complaining about all the VS "tension" being deflated now forget the movie is titled "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice?" As in, Justice League, which is getting a movie after this? As in, the superhero team that includes Batman and Superman? Or that Batman and Superman are both heroes that fight together and have done so for decades? Did people just forget that stuff and think Batman and Superman were going to be mad at each other forever?

lol, how is he sliding like that, though?

So Doomsday is this guy's name? I've never heard of him. I was wondering what the thing would be that ended the fight. I mean, I figured it had to be a common enemy, but I don't know enough DC stuff to really guess at it.

Don't listen to him. I'm convinced that he's just an MCU troll whenever he gets the chance to talk about those movies.

okay dude. i mean it seems like it's going for the same tone that avengers and company went for.

i was hoping the teaser/comic con trailer was more indicative of what they were aiming for but this seems kind of less "gritty" and more in line with the usual comic book movies i've been seeing.

at least the money shot at the end was cool but meh, not very happy about this trailer.

I was digging it until the end of the trailer

It just felt...I don't know, bad? The "I thought she was with you" joke made me cringe honestly

I liked the trailer, not as much as the first few, but will agree that it gave away way too much.

Will be there day one either way.

So they revealed most of the plot and took away all tension of The titular fight.

That ending was Avengers level goofy.

I probably couldn't name a billionaire outside of Bill Gates off the top of my head
Who gives a shit anyways?

Doomsday always was, is, and will be a plot device

Hes a fucking reporter on the job in Gotham I expect basic competent. Perry needs to fire his ass.

Cause he's a reporter in Metropolis not Gotham?

This isn't a secret Wayne Enterprises is a massive company a reporter knowing who Bruce Wayne is isn't unreasonable.

ok, now you guys can go ahead and actually call it a bad trailer..because it is, something really off about it. The music, the pacing, ADHD infected lex and the family reunion at the end that just kills the premise of the movie being about batman vs superman.

I really can't believe they actually put out this trailer, it's so bad.
Like I was on board with the first trailer while not being a huge dc guy, but this is terrible.
Again, why is doomsday in this movie. He sucks.

Yet going by twitter reactions. People are creaming their pants. People literally just want to see these people on the big screen, fight, team up or whatever and be entertained.

You average movie goes isn't expecting this to change the way we view films.

Put me in that 'that was shockingly bad' column.

Man, none of it worked for me.

Felt like a parody when Lex butted in to their conversation. Like a Funny or Die sketch.

Seriously. Looks so fucking bad...

I would have avoided showing Bats and Supes teaming up. We all know it's going to happen but the suspense is greater when you keep that part away from the trailer.

Still hyped.

So they reduced Doomsday to just a filler villain in a movie that isn't about him just because the movie had to have a villain? Well besides Lex I guess. Mweh :/

To be fair I don't follow DC so all I know Doomsday is from Death Of Superman

"reduced"

If your argument is that this film doesn't have enough conflict...

C'mon.

What? All I meant was I though Doomsday was supposed to be a big deal, but maybe not? All I know him from is Death of Superman where he was, in fact, a big deal

Eh...that trailer wasn't very good. Too tim burton comical on the part of lex and that last bit of interaction with the heroes. Totally wasn't expecting doomsday(thanks for ruining a surprise, trailer). I thought this whole movie was them duking it out, bro hugging, then offing lex o_O
