Batman v Superman - New Official Trailer

I liked it, although it does give away a lot. This is the first movie I've been hyped to see since Ironman 3 let me down. Hopefully it turns out good.

I'm down with Doomsday coming in early, long as he's a serious threat and not like Ultron and beaten with the power of friendship. I want the Doomsday that wipes out half the league. Bats still looks old. On the bright side, lot of interest in what went down with this version's Joker/Gotham. Guards kneeling to Supes makes me think of Injustice and the like.

They aren't the ones crying about it, they're the ones saying that this is shit. It obviously isn't shit. You may not like it, but it isn't shit.

No way is WW fanservice either. People crying they showed too much yet wonder why she isn't shown fighting yet. She is the new thing here, in her entirety. They'll show her when they need to and she obviously has a huge impact on the film. The part we see I'm the trailer won't be her first appearance as WW either.
 
The trailer does seem a little bit off to me, I mean I'm still excited for this movie no doubt about that. But, I just feel that the Doomsday or Bizzaro reveal just feels that it's a big spoiler just like what the Warner Bros.' marketing department did to Creed. And besides, we all know that Batman and Superman will become friends and that they joined with Wonder Woman and they are gonna kick ass. It's because the new Justice League movie that it is coming in 2017.
By the way, I'm glad I didn't see Aquaman and Cyborg in this trailer. Because, everyone wanna see some surprises. Well, I think Aquaman might be revealed in the next trailer or so, because of the Twitter reveal that was done by Zack Snyder and please let Cyborg have his own surprise.
 
Worst thing about the trailer is that terrible music and showing off Doomsday. Looking forward to it but damn if this was my first impression I'd be worried.

Except that's hardly the kind of twist being set up. You'll see Lex scheming, fiddling with Zod's corpse in every scene where he isn't manipulating Batman and Superman to go at it. But the core conflict will still be Batman and Supes. Doomsday is nothing more than a final representation of their willingness to put differences aside for the greater good.
 
The only thing I didn't like is how Eisenberg seems unable to change his accent whatsoever.

Other than that, fuckit I thought it looked pretty sweet. Also had no idea Wonderwoman was going to be in this, so that was a shocker to me.
 
Bad pacing, revealed way too much. I don't really have a dog in the Marvel vs DC fight but one is simply on another level at this point.
 
Is Esinberg is supposed to playing the classic Lex Luthor we usually see in Superman stories?

I thought he was playing Alexander Luthor Jr. , which is Lex Luthor's son.

Great post. There's a lot more to this film and Doomsday is just a plot device.

As for Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman, in this film it's probably cameo, never actually Cyborg, and small role/cameo.

Victor stone is probably fucked up by something that happens at Lexs labs, who probably has his dad working on it. (I only know of one creation of cyborg and the one I know could fit into what I've said)

- That scene at the end that I wish they didn't spoil
I hated:
- Generic monster #33567
- It looks like they are going to Spider-Man 3 the end

Also: isn't Supes supposed to
die against Doomsday
?

Good trailer with shit ending. Cautiously optimistic.
 
looking forward to it, but i'm iffy about them showing so much from the film. feels like we know the whole plot already. desperation maybe?

then again, the plot was probably obvious from the get-go. batman and superman distrust each other, fight each other, unite against a worthy, common foe.

i'll see it.

fuck doomsday, though. he's a horrible villain. and it would be nice to see a different type of lex luthor. a charismatic, imposing, likeable, agreeable figure and not some cackling, goofy maniac like he's always been in the movies.

Superman dying against Doomsday was one of the dumbest things to happen in comics. Also, the most famous thing to happen in comics. Not sure why you spoilered it.
 
I mean, it spoiled some stuff but...

Does anyone really expect any surprises in this movie? I don't see it not being formulaic:

1. Bats mad at Supes
2. Supes mad at Bats
3. They fight for 2 acts
4. Bad dude who acts as a plot device with little character development brings them together
5. WW jumps in
6. Good guys win.
7. Credits.
 
I've just watched the trailer on a larger screen and as much as instill love it, I can see why people think it's a bad trailer. I also didn't like the 3rd Star Wars trailer, as a trailer. Content wise, was amazing. But I didn't like the overall feel of it.

I think there's too many queues n cuts to match the music in this trailer, a few less jumps would make it a little less jarring.

I fucking love it though! It ends light as there's still way more to come from WW.
 
Lex is Ep1 Anakin bad.

Although I do feel the need to point out that if you think this trailer spoils the whole movie...uh, nope. I'm surprised they gave away Doomsday, that smacks a bit of desperation, but there's a lot more than what's been seen.
 
I enjoyed the trailer. I don't know if I agree with the direction for lex and using doomsday so soon.

I like the voice synthesizer for batman.

Boy did that trailer shatter the thought of this being great.

I'm not gonna write it off or anything yet but I'm offended by Snyder continually ruining good things .
 
I've warmed up to BvS Doomsday. I just want the film to make it clear that Superman would be face down in a puddle if not for the rest of the Trinity. I want to see blood and bruises on Supes' face.
 
Tbh i thought Superman is going to end up getting a hollow victory....he will win the fight, sees the damages around them and realizes that batman is right, and then he goes into hiding.

And then batman and friends seek him out for help in justice league. I mean there isn't any man of steel 2 around so it could have go this way.

And i have always think wonder woman is going to get a mid movie cameo. Like a tease or some sort that she exist in this movie-verse and they will team up in future. Never thought she will actually end up being a deus ex machina lol.

They were too urgent for the justice league team up.
