i read the full leaked plot so i pretty much saw the whole movie
its a standard mediocre blockbuster as well as a justice league prelude, they title is doing most of the work here

im interested in seeing how it turns out when the justice league is out compared to the avengers
going by the second BVS trailer itt it seems like a comedic approach similar to the avengers is being taken and i think that if it continues in justice league it wont work because it was kind of awkward with batman going "i thought she was with u......" since its supposed to be a grim situation with batman and all
it works well with marvel because thats always been their thing since they started their cinematic universe

I truly do not understand why this is getting so much flak online. People are complaining about spoilers? Did everyone REALLY think Batman and Superman were going to kill each other and NOT team up? Gal Godot was cast as Wonder Woman ages ago, is it really such a surprise that she shows up in the end? Doomsday's reveal was leaked by Latino Review and people have been saying that the movie's bound to have a real big bad. Now that they show him, everyone's bitching.

they already went and made batman look like a total doofus with that explosion aftermath, i can't figure out why they had to make it funny..

It's pretty obvious at this point the trailer is cut for those that felt the other two are dark, geared toward those that are comfortable with Marvel's movies (big surprise, it's attached to Force Awakens, a seemingly more lighthearted movie). Judging by Man of Steel and the first two trailers, I'm thinking this is as much of a comedy as IM3's Mandarin was shown to be dramatic in their trailers. The difference compared to MoS is the jokes will actually land, and the ones ones that seem like half jokes (Luthor talking to Supes/Bats) will have context in the movies.
tdlr; Editing plays a HUGE part in what you are presenting.

Seriously. DC cuts a dramatic trailer and they get called too humorless. They cut a trailer with Marvel one-liners and it gets flak for being too campy. There's no winning here.

Kinda funny how the same people who pointed at the RT audience score as evidence for MoS being at least good like to pile on the hate for the Thor franchise when Dark World, arguably the most mediocre MCU entry, has both better critic AND audience scores.

The way Eisenberg is hamming it up reminds me of Samuel L Jacksons villain in Kingsman.
Valentine is a much better villain than BvS Lex.
The ONLY saving grace would be that Lex dies and his father the real bald-headed Lex played by Bryan Cranston emerges to get revenge on the justice league.
Come on, you haven't even seen the film...

No, but from what I've seen so far has not given me anything to believe in. Then again I still went to see Man of Steel even though it was a bad movie, so whatever the case i will see BvS when it comes out.
