Darn. Missed the FE SE. Not even sure I want it since I haven't even finished awakening. But it's always nice to have stuff sit on your Amazon order list.

I guess I missed FE Fates SE on Amazon

With the amount of effort and fucking waiting its taking to get that god damned thing I don't think I even want it that much anymore... But I still want the whole fucking package god damn it Nintendo.

Also BB didn't ship my Xenoblade X yet. BB pls

It comes with both parts of the game along with the DLC epilogue.

To buy individually: $50 Game Card + $25 Digital Second Game + $25 DLC Epilogue = $100 and takes up who knows how much on your SD card

To buy special edition: $100 for all on the game card + comes with some extra trinkets

Ugh the pricing is that fucked? Ugh.

My FS XCX got charged too, looks like I'll be playing Monday.

I'm not too upset as I've got CoD to play anyway.

I'm sure if anyone will be able to take advantage. This week's London drugs flyer lists the iPod touch as $169. It shows the nano in a picture but the touch in the words.

Damn. I'm pretty late on this but is there anyone who got their Batman Arkham Knight through buying a GPU got any compensation from the retailer they bought it? I heard Newegg Canada is giving free game like MGSV. How about NCIX? Thanks.

Fuck, of course I miss Fire Emblem SE while I'm at work. :(

I'm not sure if I should buy them separately while that 30% off sale is still on, or just apend the $30 more for the SE. Does Revelations come physically in the SE, or is it just a digital code?

EDIT: SE literally went up like 5 minutes after my shift started. Fuck that bullshit.

Why do I even work if it means missing out on FE :(

I don't even care about any discounts, just want the games. :(

EBgame tomorrow morning will be opening up preorders in store. First come first serve. I think they'll be opening preorders online at 1pm.

So I noticed just now that my Cyber Monday order with the 30% off discount has been applied twice. I haven't had anything done to that order, so I'm confused as to why it happened, but I won't complain. 56% off isn't anything to worry about.

Someone convince me to pre-order xenoblade x before the amazon 30% off sale on it ends at midnight (release date).

I like jrpgs but this seems a.) grindy and b.) overly complicated

and therefore nothing like FFX, P4G (best jrpg in 10 years), Chrono Trigger, etc.

I didn't really enjoy the witcher, mgs 5, nor the first xenoblade.

Love the space setting though.

Then again at ~$50 may be worth a try.

Decisions...anyone care to weigh in?

If you didn't like the original Xenoblade don't do it. You also don't seem to like open world games (MGS V, Witcher) so it's best to stay away.

you sound really really lukewarm on the game. Do you have nothing else to play or look forward to in the near future? If i cared at all about my $50, and I had your tastes, I'd be giving this one a wide berth.

Thanks for the fast responses. You saved me some dough :)

I had to google "wide berth". Lol. That's what happens when you live in a big city. (Everything about boats I learned from AC Black Flag lol).

I asked in the xeno review thread a couple days back and they confused me with their unrelenting enthusiasms...so very happy now you guys set me right.

I got Amazon CSR to take 30% off of Fire Emblem. He said he couldn't add it to my E3 order, so I asked him if he could directly apply 30% off onto the Fire Emblem order. He modified the game's price instead of a discount, so I won't get any price modifications, but $79 after tax isn't bad. Now if only I knew what price I would be paying on each version of Fire Emblem separately in my E3 order.

Also got charged for Xenoblade from FS. Still probably won't play until after exams.

yeah I knew I missed it when the thread exploded four pages. fuck tho looks like no shipping for Xenoblade.

alright lining up at EB early for the SE. head to BB to buy Xenoblade and an eShop card for Trauma Team then work ;_;

and like jesus you guys actually managed to get the 30% off on the SE. those reps are so inept, in a good and bad way

Yeah. For some reason though, the csr added another one to my order, which ended up in its own order.

That'd be why you got the extra 30% off. What they did was tied it to that order. It shows up on it's own order. But for whatever reason, by tying it to that order, it applies the discount again. How many games did you have on the other order that got double discounts?

If you get 30% off the special edition becomes cheaper than getting them individually as you save 30% off everything instead of just the physical game you buy.

(I estimated the eShop prices for CAD).

Actually the route download is very small, Hoshido is 97MB, Nohr is 110MB, and the 3rd route is 56MB for the Japanese release (Assuming you want to get all 3 route while having only Birthright or Conquest on cart)

From Senere's Forest, 3rd post counting from the bottom.

This would probably mean that all physical versions of the game has all of the assets on cart, the DLC is just for unlocking. But then again all three games shares the assets (music, voice, visuals), so the actual key data for the games might be quite small.

So if you have one physical version, your total download is actually very small. If you go full digital, then the size would be 3GB+, or over 12,000 blocks.

But you are right about the SE being the cheapest way of buying the game

Damn, I just realized that I have to factor in the taxes too, I solely use eShop cards so I might need to throw another 15 dollar card on top of the 50 dollar card because it's the cheapest eshop card I can buy Jesus. Oh well might be worth it for the dlcs

I see. I have 7 games on the order. Does the tied order also get the discount on shipping?

Not amused that the Fire emblem special edition went up while I was at work and now it looks like I'll have to take the bus into work in the morning so I'm screwed for getting it from eb games at 1pm...

With the way things are going it's going to go up on Best buy while I'm at work tommorow as well. *sigh*

On the plus side my futureshop order for Xenoblade got charged to my card so it's good to know that's shipping finally

Ah okay that's not too bad then.
Well it could be cheaper. This is based off of MSRP for Birthright/Conquest and the estimated price of the DLCs, but if you got either / both during E3 or right now with the -30% promo, then it's less.
I believe someone said earlier in the thread that you can't carry a save from one physical copy to another?

BB hasn't charged my card yet. I guess the dream is dead.

And people were saying amazon shipping was bad...

Are you talking about Xenoblade? I'm the opposite. BB charged my card, expected delivery date is by next Tuesday. Shit, I have time this weekend to play it as well. This bums me out.

Xenoblade Chronicles has yet to ship, though it says it will "arrive tomorrow by 8pm".

Has anyone here ever had a delivery that late? Usually, I get it between 11 A.M.-1 P.M.

Apparently Amazon cancelled my friend's FE Fates order because he'd ordered it just as it sold out or something? Anyone had success having them put that as at least a Backordered item? Kinda shitty situation.

I read that Amazon was automatically cancelling some people's orders automatically? They had pre-order the same game previously or something. Never heard anything definitive though.

Mine always says "by 8pm" regardless of actual delivery time, which is usually in same timeframe as yours.

The game actually recognize the saves, but not the clear data. It will treat the saves as different runs. So it's impossible to complete the game on one log file. Oh in addition, the physical version you bought will have that particular version saved on the cart, while the dlc routes will have the saves on the SD card, which means the two games can only read the saves for the 3rd route unless you have a way to transfer the saves to your SD card. hopefully I'm clear.

In other words, if you want to buy both Birthright and Conquest physically, you have to buy another version of those two (just one) to make sure that you can have a full clear data that has all three routes.

In addition, every time you buy a route you unlock 3 additional save slots, if you buy both versions physically, you will miss 3 save slots unless again, buying one of the two routes again digitally.

I highly recommend against getting the two versions physically unless it's the SE or you are the collector type. Because you are paying $150 to get access to the same amount of features and bonuses as a person who paid $100 for either the SE or one physical plus two dlc routes

The games worth over $25. You wouldn't be charged any shipping on it.
So you got 7 games with a discount of about 55% each. Not bad.

My bad, its late. I meant to ask if FE would also get the 55% discount once it ships, since no discount is listed in its new order. I already had free shipping.

EDIT: Well damn, I'm not a junior anymore. Nice.

I wonder if I should make any last minute preorders....

I'd be really tempted to get Megadimension Neptunia if it wasn't coming the same month as Fire emblem. Paying $100 for the SE on that means I can't afford another $60 game on top of it.

Same goes for Digimon Cyber story in March. Same month as the Twilight princess special edition not to mention Hyrule warriors legends pretty much kills that given my limted spending budget. Plus I'd rather have the vita version as well.

That doesn't leave much other then Kingdom hearts and Mass effect which I'm holding back on a bit for seperate reasons. If only Atelier Sophie and Bravely second were listed :/

Super glad that I got the shadaloo stick preordered at that price error.

Honestly though, I don't feel great about buying another stick for full button functionality. I bought a te2 at launch and was shocked/annoyed at the lack of a touchpad-click/select button. It's good that their new design fixed it but I feel that there's no excuse for that not being there in the first place and I'm not sure I want to support that decision with another purchase. We'll see.

I feel the same way, so I'm using my original TE2 now to be a dual mod stick since the core functionality is limited anyways. Then I'll use the TES+ and TE2+ as strictly ps3/ps4/pc sticks for when friends come over
