The final Sony event of the year is here! It's a massive two day fan event consisting of panels, playable demos, a keynote and Elena's Ultra Street Fighter IV's last hurrah at the Capcom Cup Finals!

Realistically, expect the following:
  • Updates to announced games like Call of Duty, Star Wars: Battlefront & Destiny.
  • New announcements, the most prominent being a sequel featuring the angry guy no one likes.
  • Megatons such as Crash still being an Activision owned IP.
  • Daigo getting bodied.
  • General disappointment because Persona 5 was supposed to be out this year.

The Capcom Cup Finals are over. It was fantastic stuff. Try to catch a rebroadcast on the Twitch channel or watch the VOD if you're a subscriber.

It's happening!

Here are my predictions.

Realistic Expectations
  • 3rd party talk about Black Ops III, Battlefront and Destiny and how they have made the PS4 successful this holiday season.
  • PS4 has reached 35 million sales.
  • PS1/2 classics info revealing even more PS2 games coming to PS4.
  • God of War IV full reveal including gameplay; the game will melt eyes.
  • New Uncharted 4 gameplay (perhaps carrying on from the cutscene shown at TGA on Thursday).
  • Yakuza 5 "available now" making PSN crash
    (and a PS4 port).
  • New The Last Guardian footage that will end on a cliffhanger and make people cry.
  • New FF7R footage that will cause GAF outrage.
  • Firmware 4.0 talk (long rumored 4K support, friend notifications etc).
Now let's turn it up a notch
  • A new Crash Bandicoot revealed for PS4
    whilst still being owned and developed by Activision.
  • Agent comes back after all these years
    and is now being developed by Romobodo games instead of Rockstar.
  • RIME comes back from the dead
    and has turned into an online only MOBA.
  • We can finally change our PSN name
    for $15.
  • Brand new Onimusha revealed for PS4
    on kickstarter.

Come on KHIII trailer and FFVIIR title, don't let me down Hashimoto.
I'll be let down but it's my fault.

Also want a new TLG trailer.
 
Playstation knows the power of surprise and big reveals. There'll be at least one big new thing. I FEEL IT IN MY BONES.

Putting my money down on it being God of War IV as well, as well as one big new thing in the next PSN firmware - probably an overhauled library system or name changing, or whatever.
