I think it's the opposite for me- I found Jurassic World incredibly bland visually. Following up Abrams and especially Rian Johnson I can't help but feel like Trevorrow's work will look a bit like, well, Richard Marquand.

Meanwhile I expect that if Kasdan stays involved for the whole trilogy then the screenwriting is likely to be in good hands.
