It seems some GAF accounts have been compromised

Do you require my Social Security and Credit Card numbers as well? The guy I use right now required those as a down payment. If not, you drive a hard bargain!
 
this thread might be a fine moment to ask this and it might be a silly one .

currently i am logged into gaf on my phone ,my 3DS and my PC and i am ticked to stay on indefinitely on all 3 .

Now i have changed my password on my PC but does that also mean that my passwords also instantly changes on my other devices on which i am still logged on with my old password ?

Brb turning my element from user = member to user = admin.

Thanks, I have just changed my email address just now, the old one was my work email, but if something was to happen I do not have access to it at home, I will leave it to go through the system & then I will change my password here tomorrow just to be safe.

I hope this is nothing serious.

When you go to refresh or click on a thread, it will say that you are logged out & you will have to log-in again with your new password.

If you change your password, you'll be logged-out of any other devices with the password saved and you'll have to login again on them.

it's not letting me change mine. said emails don't match (they did). then I left them out b/c it says optional, then it says please fill out required emails.
 
Hmm I got a totally random PM telling me to kill myself, wonder if it was related to this.
 
I just received a confusing PM from internetwolf (not sure if his account has been compromised or if it was an odd coincidence) and then I noticed this thread. I ran to change my password, only to discover that the forum wouldn't take my new one. I had to reset it from the login screen in order to post again.

Does that make any sense? Am I taking crazy pills?

Good thing I keep different passwords for different sites. Anyway, I'm changing my e-mail one just in case.
 
Changed my password but it was being really weird about letting me log back in afterwards. Kept saying I didn't have permission to access or something, took a few attempts but I got back in
 
Changed mine, then the site quickly prompted me to "you are not logged in...", and thought "shit, they got mine". But fortunately could login with my new pass.
 
Why can't this get stickied seeing as this is a pretty big deal?

Like seriously, even if you assume that it might be as a result of a breach of another site, wouldn't it be best for everyone if people knew to change their passwords and what not?
 
Oh wow just had a major scare. I changed my password earlier this afternoon and tonight I kept seeing the New Reply button disabled on mobile. Turns out I was just losing WiFi connection but that about gave me a heart attack. Thought I had got hacked then banned.
 
I got a hilarious PM from someone with zero posts the other day, I guess that's related to the second thing in the OP.
