So these signings co-incide with the release of the WWE Network in Japan which seems to be the major force behind them.
Beyond removing the creative responsibility for creating an organic, WWE made Balor club, this whole move feels like some IWC pandering. I have no idea what they are going to do with a guy like AJ who is on his last legs and is completely focused on work-rate and the minimal, in ring NJPW form of character work which is the antithesis to what Vince seems to be interested in. Nakamura can't speak English, he's destined for a dancing gimmick and is more busted up than most people already on the roster. Anderson probably has the most potential out of all the troupe, given that he can talk, work a WWE style and will probably fit right back in with Fergal. Gallows will be in the dream 4 way with Henry, Show and Stroman that Vince will er, appreciate, I'm sure.
Seriously we are going to get a few dream matches, have the guys characters probably ruined and unable to draw, then their bodies are going to explode and 2 years down the line they won't have much to show for it other than maybe some brief interest in the WWE Network in Japan? If this company can't make a dude like Dean Ambrose or Cody Rhodes a star (two guys with great looks, good WWE style in ring and fantastic talkers) then what hope is there for a Nakamura or AJ?
