you speak so well
I figured this would be coming sooner or later. Bernthal seems like a good fit for the character, can't wait to see him in DD S2, I'm in.

It'll also be the first true crossover between FOX and Marvel Studios, when Daken murders Frank. Afterwards, Man-Thing pieces Frank back together to create FrankenCastle.

Is something I'd be okay with the article saying.

So which Ennis story do we straight up adapt here.

Do we do Welcome Back Frank?
Do we do Barracuda?
What about Down Is Up is Black is White?

Just do one or two a season starting with Welcome Back Frank for as long as this thing lasts. No point in adapting any other Punisher stories.

I hope it's just a self contained season. I can see a Punisher series being good, but not if it extends past a season.

Yeah Punisher is not a deep well, comics proved that. How many eps can you have of a guy shooting drug dealers, then going back to a rat's nest and crying as he clean some guns.

Paper or plastic?
It's great what a superhero show can be when it isn't beholden to the shackles of traditional television. No commercial brakes to adhere to, no recaps in the form of clunky expositional dialogue at the beginning of each episode, and each episode can be as long as it needs to. Daredevil was what I hoped Arrow would be. Now, we're getting a Punisher series, great.

Super excited.

Punisher is probably as big of a Marvel character than they can go right? Or are they going to go even bigger in the future?

Instead of JJ s2 probably.

Unlikely if you're talking about release slot. It would have to start filming next month to make it. It seems like it just got greenlit. Definitely a 2017 show. Iron Fist still doesn't have casting but if they're quick they could still start in a month or two and try to release by Dec.

Welcome Back Frank for the most part was basically the movie but if they do the part with the three Punisher copycat storylines, that could be pretty rad.

Great news! Bernthal must of turned in quite the performance to have the Netflix chiefs green light a series.

Makes me super fucking hyped for Daredevil S2, more so for that than BvS which is weird to type considering how big of a Batman and Superman fan I am...o_O

Absolutely Barracuda. He was a menacing psycho of a villain and the stakes were higher than in most other punisher stories.
