The Division - 15 minutes of new gameplay

PS4 screens look nice, looks 1080p native.

Btw this is Washington St. in Brooklyn. So..

They still keep showing it. So it must be in the base game.
That theory that the start of the game starts there seems more and more realistic. Maybe its where you Agent lives and then gets message to activate. Some battle and really goes to shit there. You get move out with the chopper you see at the start of the alpha etc.

Jesus, I can't take it anymore.
But if Brooklyn is in the beginning of the game, why can't we travel back. I don't care if I get loading screens between boroughs, just, fuck, I want Brooklyn, Massive ;_;

Feeling more and more disappointed with this game. Hopefully the PC version is closer to what was shown at E3, but this is looking less and less like a purchase for me.

Cool. I was contemplating it considering nothing else is coming out in March. I got tricked in that with Destiny though and I don't wanna get caught again.

Eh, I enjoyed Destiny for 20 hours too though!
Easier to match make with randoms in this one though.

I'm looking forward to The Division as a single player RPG, we'll see how that goes.

I found a lot of later game Destiny stuff way too hard solo so I gave up.

Huh?

The gameplay is almost exactly the same as the E3 2013 build. They had a very clear vision of what they wanted to do.

Also the PC version is looking much closer to the E3 reveal than not.

Is it as good? No.

But after 3 years of development, I would say they are very reasonably "On target".

2016

I mean, the game was a very early work in progress. This is well within acceptable margins of difference imo. Especially when 99% of the gameplay mechanics are in tact. (Second Screen drone stuff seems to be axed).

Edit: Poster of pictures at below uploaded them to Flickr to lessen compression on pics; https://www.flickr.com/photos/137925626@N06/with/24550133395/

Some shots from PC versions Beta build, not taken by me!

Setting were all max, Some odd fps drops and pretty high vram usage.

Does it look as good as E3?

No. No game ever does, But I went and pre ordered it this morning as its great game.

Gonna go with the flow here, but if the PC version looks anything like the screens shown today, it will be one of the best looking games ever made, regardless of what they showed in 2013. If its the graphics holding you back, you not gonna find this level anywhere else.

No email sent (even though it says it did). Maybe they are out. How long did it take you guys to get a code.

It should be instant.

I dunno about those... Some of the screenshots show "X" (PS4) in the UI and another shows "RT" (XBO) in the UI... There are some that have keyboard UI though.

There are a couple that have keyboard UI though.

Which ones?
Are we looking at the same screenshots?

PC Gamepad maybe?
Look at upper left corner, there are MSI afterburner(isn't it?) going live.

It could be a gamepad... Or these could be from a devkit, our Devkits at Sony could show you CPU, RAM, temps etc.

There are 3 screenshots in the link that do have keyboard UI prompts.

There are 8 screenshots that are showing keyboard prompts, actually.

Seriously? Have you guys never connected a xbox controller on a pc or something. :D

That X button looks like a dualshock button though. Ubisoft games do support dualshock button prompts. I may be wrong though.

No, It's showing Afterburner's statistics via Rivatuner. It is on PC and the X button is for the Xbox One Controller. No conspiracy.

Oh I see, thanks for the insight.
Btw the ps4 devkit also show D3D11? (third row from top)

the button to do the interaction is the X button for XBOX controllers...Square for Playstation

No, you are right... I didn't notice the D3D11.

I didn't mean to upset you guys, I just personally don't think those are from PC.

No problem at all :). Based on Ubisoft past practice I'm understand, why they cannot be given a benefit of doubt.

Those PC shots look about on par with what I've seen. Doesn't look like Ultra settings even though they reckon it is. I'd guess mostly High. Unless the compression is killing it.
