That got a huge cheer.

I'm so confused, these are the same people that if Trump was up there and totally dismissed the question they would have cheered as well.

Rand Paul has a small bunch of groupies that scream after all his answers in each debate.

Rand's a classic libertarian - that means he overlaps with liberals on social and military issues, and he overlaps with conservatives on economic issues and stuff like guns.

To his credit, he's always been incredible consistent in his adherence to the libertarian ethos.

If you go back and watch the debates from 2012, Ron Paul dominated as well. The crowd loved him. I think the reason that doesn't turn into more voters is that the media intentionally do not cover them enough.

And like with most modern libertarians, their devotion to money outweighs their devotion to social change.

They keep saying Obama is a disaster...

That's politics for you, and why you have to be a very "special" person to be a politician. The other guy could've been Jesus incarnated, but if he's from the other party he will always be the "worst ever"

Moderators calling out Republicans for wanting to kill Obamacare that will lose millions of people healthcare. Good work.

Than Cruz says he'll cut everything, including preventing insurance companies from denying coverage due to preexisting conditions.

Wait, what's Ted's plan? How can you have health insurance without a job? It's almost 10 thousand dollars a year...

EDIT: Unless you subsidize it of course, which turns into Obamacare...

Quick question: Ted Cruz just mentioned decoupling health insurance from employment. Would that essentially mean that everyone would need to purchase insurance separately?
