If Bernie wins the nomination and everyone's fears of people coming out to vote against Socialism (and Atheism judging by how the GOP can spin his comments) become true, we'd be looking at a Cruz *vomits* presidency.

At least Trump has had decent views in the past and there's still a chance he's pulling a long con. Cruz on the other hand has always been a legitimately terrible human being.

People want the least electable Republicans to win.

In the event that everything goes to shit and either 1) What I mentioned above happens to Bernie or 2) Many bitter Bernie supporters deny Hillary the youth vote or worse, vote against her, do you really wanna deal with those consequences?

No he's not. He's Dick Cheney on foreign policy, Mitt Romney on taxes/finance, and Rick Santorum on social issues. His "moderate" image is just that - an image.

It wouldn't be hard at all, but like I said: If you even give people the option to vote online, democrats would very likely win every time. You'd have the biggest 'voter turnout' for youth in history and republicans would get shit on. It'd be a superior system but it wouldn't be in the interest of half of the United States' Government.

I think it will surely tighter. Something like that would suggest her last week campaigning had been as tone deaf has the internet suggests and really calls into question her campaigns talent.

Her campaign reminds me of Scottish Labour in 2011; a party slipping support and basically melting down as if their opponents are stealing support that is somehow 'owed'.

Those on the Dem side (Repub side too) who have been sitting think this election was an easy win should wake up whatever the result. You need a good campaign and a good campaigner to win, its never in the bag.

He's younger and more photogenic, which has proven to be critical for electability in the last few decades. Clinton, W. Bush, and Obama were all very charismatic (relatively) young men who won most on likability. Rubio has that AND has the Hispanic connection, making him much more dangerous in the general election. If the winner of the Republican nomination were guaranteed to be the president, I seriously doubt many people here would be wanting Trump or Cruz over Rubio.

You got it. Our current 30 and 40 somethings could figure out online voting. Our current 50 to 60 somethings might have issues. When boomers die off we'll have online voting. Give it two decades.

Exactly. Unless Sander's numbers change dramatically in the next few states very quickly, tonight isn't going to matter. Obviously Clinton would rather win tonight, but regardless of how much she loses by, it probably won't matter in the long run.

Bloomberg would essentially be a moderate Republican who would split the GOP in twain (good), but it risks no one getting to 270 and a vote for president in the GOP-dominated House (bad).
