Reminds me of the time I saw Straight Outta Compton in theatres, and there was a kid who was watching by himself. He was probably pre-teen.

Right before the movie started, there were a couple of employees who walked in the theatre and kicked him out. lol

lmao he must have had that angry little kid face when he was forced to get up...

... :( should have let him watch it to witness the glory of ice cube and early west coast music.

Some of the ratings in Canada with my local theatre chain.. lol

There's going to be a lot of uncomfortable parents with kids when I see the Sunday matinee. I'm in NL with STC (subject to classification), but I imagine we'll fall into the 14A bracket. Quebec hard core as usual.

Cineplex still lists it as Subject to Classification in general, but another theatre shows it as 18A (persons under 18 must be accompanied by adult) for Ontario.

I have my tix for 7:30 tomorrow. Can't freaking wait. So hyped! Work is gonna suck on Thursday just waiting to get out.

Is this Xmen canon?

It is. There's Colossus and Negasonic
and Deadpool teases about Cable being in the sequel
.

And without any spoilers: saw it today. It was better than I would have ever imagined. It was perverse, low, stupid, awful and horrible. I can't remember when I've had so much fun in the movies. I was constantly wiping off tears from laughing so much. It's awesome, it's rough, it's the funniest superhero movie ever made. 5/5

Saw it today in Paris and i feel exactly the same ! This movie is just perfect !

Can't wait to see how the government butched up this movie censorship wise here... :( Going this weekend. Pretty sure they will cut all the nudity and the most bloody/gory stuff as well.

So glad the script leaking didn't sink this film.

The script was THAT good.

Glad that footage leaked reversing that decision.

It was cool. Most of the fourth wall jokes are a bit too much for me (never liked 'em) but the audience laughed at them, and boy the audience in my showing loved this movie. I never really liked Deadpool as a character but I thought this movie has done him justice. It was fun, stupid, really aware of itself and its stupidities that it's kind of reassuring. Great experience.

Got my tickets for a 10:00 PM showing on Saturday at a 21+ theater. I'm thinking they'll probably be doing chimichangas, since they do themed dishes for every major release. Can't wait.

Seems like a large percentage of my fellow nerd friends are going to see this for Valentine's Day. This pleases me greatly.

As for me and mine, we're going tomorrow. Hype.

Should be going to see this tonight, day 1 showing :)

Cant wait though, especially after all the good word of mouth going round.

I feel like reading through all 50 issues of Cable & Deadpool after all the talk about the sequel, might have to make an effort to do so.

Looks fun. How is the game? Been looking into that cause of the movie.

Worth picking up for $5. I wouldn't suggest paying any more for it, as it's not a very good game.

Lots of Waypool stuff, but Nolan North does a good job and it did get some laughs out of me. It's not much fun to play, though.

Terrible unless you're a diehard Deadpool fan

Ah ok, I wouldn't say diehard, but I do like the character.

And its $20 on Amazon now.

I saw it and I liked it. The cinema was surprisingly full for a middle of the day showing with all adults.

It wasnt that funny, but it was more dramatic and serious, more empathetic than I thought it would be.

I like the character Deadpool much more than Wolverine. Hugh is a good actor but it doesnt seem like there's much to work with in the gruff angry cool man of Wolverine. This beats those movies easily anyway.

Deadpool is so much more, he's damaged, anxious, crazy/psycho, funny, he doesnt give a shit, not worried about being cool. I dont really know the character from the comics, but Reynolds seemed perfect.

Saw it, thought it was very funny. Thought i would be able to nip in and see a nice quiet showing at 1ish on a Wednesday, was pretty fully. But the audience seemed to like it, lots of laughs in all the right places.

Loved the dynamics between Deadpool and Colossus.
especially the whole "watch your language" mantra that Colossus had going on.

Really enjoyed the whole fight between Colossus and Angel Dust, especially her nut shot and how it came about.

I'm 25 minutes away from watching this movie and I am hyped up as hell. I really hope the German dub is good because our local cinema seldomly shows movies with their original dub. I will stomach it tho. Gonna have to for my buddyfriend Deadpool <3

Some interesting facts:

http://pro.boxoffice.com/news/2016-02-08-facebook-watch-deadpool-bids-farewell

Monday Morning Update: In his last week of eligibility for my Facebook Watch column Deadpool went out swinging, topping the 3 million like mark before release and joining an elite few in the process. No film on Facebook has ever risen more than 3 million likes from 0 in a single calendar year ever. Others such as 50 Shades Of Grey have topped 7 million likes in a single calendar year before release but didn't start at 0 like Deadpool. To give it even further context, not even the might Star Wars: The Force Awakens managed to top 3 million likes in the calendar year before release: the Force is also strong with this one it seems.

Hong Kong's numbers:

Deadpool opening day estimate - $814,268

HK 2/9 TUE: NC-17 rated Deadpool #8 OD of all time!, only 2nd 2D film to crack top 10 and biggest original opening day of all time

Comparatively:

Top 10 Opening Days

1- Avengers: Age of Ultron 3D
2- The Amazing Spider-Man 2
3- Spider-Man 3
4- Transformers: Age of Extinction
5- Pirates of the Caribbean 3
6- Iron Man 3
7- Harry Potter 7-2
8- Deadpool
9- The Avengers
10- The Martian*

If this estimate turns out to be true, Deadpool will be only the 2nd film released in 2D to make the top 10 opening days of all time. Other factors that hindered Deadpool's potential opening day gross include not enough screens (theaters only placed this in 1 or 2 screens -- attendance rate was extremely high), the dreaded Category III rating (equivalent to a NC-17 rating in the US) and not all theaters were showing this. Though people will argue that it was released on a holiday, these 4 factors are huge in limiting gross. This is a truly impressive opening day, probably the most surprising given that it is not a sequel to a well known release either.
