Batman V Superman Final Trailer

Ha just realized first person in this thread but not yet posted!

But the Batman stuff was great

But I think better trailer because

1)The humor played better. More subtle but the exchange with Alfred at the beginning was more in-line with Nolan films.

2)Wonder Woman. Glad they gave her an accent!

3)We get to see more of the battle, but doesn't give much context

4)That final shot.

Excuse me!? How do we know that?

That's just been the assumption in the DCCU threads. They're the three biggest and most recent Batman stories that are fan favorites (well, Red Hood and Court of Owls are) and therefore the three most sensible options for solo Batman films.

Red Hood in particular stands out because we know that BVS plants the
Jason Todd
seed.

If nothing else I have a feeling this movie is going to be really fun. Now I just want that standalone Batman movie. Batman looks as batman should.

oh my

Are we actually going to see Henry Cavill with some swag?

Wait what? Shouldnt that kill him? Or is it gonna be some comic book bs that he has a stable version or some shit.

In this trailer and part of the latest pictures released Superman looks sick (where those Bizzaro rumors come from) at certain parts of this fight. So it looks like it might be killing him or at the very least seriously affecting him to the point where Batman can block his punch.

Jeesh, some of you are hard to please. That looked fucking amazing.

Man of Steel had great trailers but the movie was meh so of course people have doubts.

I'm in the same boat, not sure about the movie but that Batman fight scene was incredible.

I'm still not feeling it. What exactly is the story of this movie? Just seems like a bunch of characters thrown together randomly.

The majority of the specifics should obviously left for the film itself, but the premise is essentially:

After seeing the destruction caused by Supes and Zod's fight in Man of Steel, Batman comes out of retirement with aims to bring down Superman as he sees him as a threat to the entire planet.

His resurgence catches the attention of Supes, who sees his style of crime-fighting as nothing more than violent vigilantism, someone taking the law into his own hands and going way too far with it.

Meanwhile, Lex Luthor is largely helping to fund the reconstruction of Metropolis, and is working on his own wily scheme in the background.

It still amazes me that they've been making huge-budget live-action Batman movies since 1989 and there hasn't been a good fight scene in any of them until now.

You know that one building in man of steel that Zod and Superman took down? Apparently that belonged to Bruce Wayne. He's pissed off about that, and is suing superman for damages (hence the 'v' instead of 'vs'), but Superman refuses to show up and compromise his secret identity. Left with no other recourse, Wayne must don the Batman persona after years of inactivity to give Superman his court summons, all while dodging a hostile corporate takeover by Lex Luthor. Also Wonder Woman is there.

Staging a superhero film as a courtroom drama is pretty ballsy, I have to say.

Superman is gonna wreck this fool. Send this billionaire boy scout to his underground luxury cave. Fuck outta here.

Yes and the armor has kryptonite in it.

ha, this was in Akiva Goldsman's 2002 Batman vs. Superman script

I can't even begin to describe my excitement for a live-action Red Hood movie with Affleck Batman. Holy shit yes.

This trailer just amplified it.

I mean to say that Affleck directing and Terrio writing were almost certainly a thing. However, there have been inklings that Redhood is likely going to be the first solo Batfleck film.

I mean, I don't think this will be as good as Batman Begins or The Dark Knight but Snyder knows how to do fight scenes. Bats was killing it in that scene.

Ace Attorney as Bruce!

Oh c'mon, we all know that. Just let us have our fun. You had amazing fights in Man of steel and at least the other Superman films you could still feel Superman's power and understood why people could be so afraid of him.

I could never understand why people were so afraid of Batman in all his films, including the DK trilogy. How he beat all those people in unarmed combat I will never know.

Everyone talking about the blocked punch. No one talking about Supes blocking a kick and then chucking Bats through a wall.

I see you.

And no one seemed to catch that dude slicing Batman's neck but the knife only causing sparks.

Now that is the Batman I want to see in action! The Bat-raid. I need a solo Bats film in my veins right now.

Still 'eh' on the film but this better than the last few trailers. Still not got the highest of hopes though.

Wish this was just a Batman vs Superman mobile, and they did the a justice a league stuff next movie.

That's still mostly true though. Aside from Wonder Woman, who doesn't sound like she's a serious presence until the third act, most of the other JL characters are not likely going to be anything more than cameos.
