Just interesting because as soon as he stepped on the Krypton ship his powers were drained immediately. I am sure it will be explained in the film.

They explained that in Man of Steel. Kryptonian atmosphere prevents their powers.

Eisenberg is still my biggest worry about this film.

Yeah, I haven't bought into him or Gadot yet. But Affleck and Irons have me hyped. I'd like to just fastforward to a stand alone Batfleck movie.

I'm really bummed at the feeling that Superman is the least exciting aspect of the upcoming DCCU. It seems like they're just using the other characters to make his story feel more interesting and in the end we're not going to care for him one bit.

I hope this isn't the case but it seems like it'll be hard to make us care for this Superman in a movie where all eyes will be on Affleck, Eisenberg and Gadot.

That's the idea, and I don't see why it won't work. This gives Superman the story and the supporting cast to elevate him like no other. One this hits, then Justice League, he'll be the man again.

Loved the trailer and it was hundred times better then any other trailer that they have released, but in the end its a Zack Snyder movie, so its going to be awful.

Snyder's strengths were always going to be in places like the fight scenes. Good someone had the sense to go back to that rather than whatever they were trying to accomplish with the last trailer. This is the first trailer that has almost sold me on this Afflek take on Batman/Bruce.

The difference with this movie is that it's the first Zack Snyder film that has a great screenwriter behind it. I'll wait until it's released before passing judgment. If it proves to be bad, then I'll add Snyder to my list of directors about whom I don't care.

I loved 300 and Watchmen so I think the trailers were not misleading. I was hyped as fuck for Sucker Punch and MoS and was disappointed with the actual movies.
That being said, I can't see BvS being worse than SP, I can't imagine a movie sucking as much as Sucker Punch.
If the trailer depicts accurately the movie, we can expect an introduction of the renewed Batman Cinematic Universe disguising as a Superman movie, and I don't see anything wrong with it. I will be there day one.
