Yeah that's bad. Gotta fix that stuff ASAP..

I don't know where to point my finger but this game has an unfinished feeling. Like the polish is missing. Not like SFIV where it felt like a game that was well optimized and polished.
 
Desperate need of help right now. For some reason my HRAP 3 SA (Hori) doesn't show the green LED turning on when I first plug it in. I haven't used it in a while. and my PS4 isn't recognizing it for SF5. But then, when i hold all 4 buttons down, eg turbo home l3 r3 it turns on? not sure if that's how it was supposed to from the very bginning. The stick works though, I was playing KOF on steam a few minutes ago. Any help?

And then when I hit all four buttons when in SF5, and the LED comes on, it doesn't recognize the stick :(

Is it a PS3 stick? It doesn't recognize those just from plugging, you need to register them on the options menu after patching the game.

It is a PS3 stick. I'll try what you suggested. Thanks man. The patch was that 6gb update I had to do last night, right? Haven't busted out this stick in a while. My brother took our other stick with him to school.

So, some boxes have the 'PS4 console exclusive game' logo, but some don't? Is that region based?

Wouldn't be surprised if there's a mini patch day one but I doubt it since there's a 6gb one, once you start the game. I wonder if the matchmaking constantly searching in the background is causing this.

IT WORKED. Thanks a lot broski. I kept going to controller options trying to figure it out. Didn't think of going to the actual options

GAME, unfortunately. I'm pretty sure you can still pre-order now if you want the alt. I'm not sure if you have get the steel book to get the outfit though. I asked at my local GAME and none of them had a clue.

According to this page it's all pre-orders (in that it doesn't mention either version specifically) :)

I was told the code is prinited on the reciept, but I'm picking it up instore so that's probably why. I would assume you'd actually have to buy the game in order to get the code.

Theoretically though, you could go into Game, pre-order it, pick it up on release day, use the code, then return SFV sealed for a refund. Although you'd lose the £5 pre-order deposit but you could add another £5 and get like £10 PSN or something.

Yeah I saw this. My local store had signs saying it was only if you pre-ordered the steelbook, so that's why I asked. The guys had no clue whether or not I'd get the skin for just pre-ordering the normal edition and said it was a 50/50 chance I'd get it.

I live in the UK but buy everything on US PSN, including SFV, so to get the Hot Ryu skin for that version I've had to ask my friend in the States to pre-order it at Gamestop, send him $60, have him collect it on release day, send me the code, return the game and then send me back the $60.

I have good friends :P

Edit: also I see the confusion now on Hot Ryu, wtf. On the steelbook page on GAME's site:

Damn, wish I had friends that could do that for me (I don't know anyone who lives outside the UK).

And yeah, GAME are so back and forth with their own deals. The guys at GAME literally had no clue how to answer my question. They even pulled out their folder on all the games coming out and still couldn't give a definite 'yes/no' answer. I got the steelbook just in case and I'm really glad I did.
 
Went into this planning on maining Nash, Cammy and Karin, but goddamn, I did not expect Vega to be this much fun this time around Might add him to the rotation now.

Depends on the difficulty. Ranges from 10, 30, 50 and 100 fights.

Same here. Guess the servers just went down.

It's going to be annoying with survival mode returning you to the main menu when servers go offline, especially during these first few days when service is bound to be intermittent at best.

As an aside, has anyone read anything about the pre-order costumes going on sale later down the line? I think the Cammy one looks awesome and since she's officially my main in this game as of today, I'd really like it. I'm guessing probably not since Capcom would want to maximise pre-order sales before they announce anything, but who knows.
