K hard mode survival is a struggle
they start reading your inputs at like 20 wins.
So it's pretty clear they want people to pay for the season pass, no surprise. So that would be $90 for the same amount of content that probably should be in the $60 package. And while you can earn most of that content for free, you have to do some really un-fun things to do it. A lot.
The value of something is pretty relative. I'm sure plenty of people are content with how things are because that's all they cared about. But I'm pretty sure they are the minority. There's a lot of people blaming the consumer for dissatisfaction with the product. When this many people are upset, though, i think it's safe to say the product and the company who made it are at fault.
How can SF V and MK X both offer $60 worth of content? Even with SFV's revealed roadmap the two don't compare. The only thing SF V has over MK X is better gameplay, but that doesn't excuse the sorry package.
And please understand, I'm not talking about server problems. This game needed another 6 months, maybe even a year. This is corporate greed taking advantage of its fandom. They could have let USFIV ride another year on the circuit and at Evo, but they muscled out USFIV and rushed out SFV to kickstart a new revenue stream, knowing the fandom and brand-awareness would be enough to sell copies. I bought it, too. That hype train is power. I'm going to play, and I'm going to have fun. But I'm not satisfied and I'm not going to be an apologist. I like Street Fighter and unfortunately I'll have to settle.

I'm still surprised that having the season pass doesn't auto-unlock all the main roster's colors. But I guess that gives me more of a reason to grind through survival, I guess.
God damn... I just want to win one match... Just one! But it seems like everyone is already at such a high skill level. At least higher than me. Most of my attacks are seemingly ignored (like them blocking from ground blocks literally every attack for some reason) and most of my blocks do nothing as well.
I finally hit all 9 hits of st mp, cr mk xx sbk.
But cr hp xx legs, cr lp xx sbk is just as maddening.
I'm usually good at doing charge combos but sbk in this game is ridiculous. Help? I made a video.

With how shitty the servers are right now, I don't blame you. Willing to bet we can at least edit our saves on PC to get those though.I'd rather pluck the hairs out of my nutsack than play Survival Mode. A far cry from Garou's Survival Mode.
Might not have been... The network is awful.
I just got disconnected from a game I was losing, I certainly didn't pull the plug. I think it's day one woes.

It's just not meant to be...
So fucking frustrating tonight, constant connections and then disconnect. This shit better be fixed by the time I wake up.

At least you are getting matches... This is the first BETA for me all over again...
I won a single round just now... Then they proceeded to steam roll me through the next two rounds by simply crouch spamming as Chun-Li.
with that combo you have plenty of time to get your charge in compared to st mp xx cr mk xx sbk. just practice getting the lp after lightning legs. the windows isn't as small as it was previously
define crouch spamming?

Didn't know Karin only head 900 health, damn.
Like they kept holding down on the stick and simply using attacks from that position and just did that over and over and even if I blocked while down as well, they simply broke through my block.

In SF, crouch block is the default block because back block pushes you back, consuming precious space.
Are you using back down crouch block or just down to crouch.
Are you crouch blocking?
My god!!! What is with the dithering on shadows!?!??! It's really annoying on ps4
First match, first win. Mirror laura, destroyed him.

I'm probably just phrasing it wrong but when I say crouch, I mean like, down stance. Like holding down the stick and back so you block while close to the ground.
