I'm on ps4 if anyone wants to spar later tonight.
Psn: NowhereFaded
I'm pretty much Scrub tier, so I'd prefer good players to better myself against, but will play with anyone (:

Holy shit this would be an amazing idea for Fight Money that UltraDavid linked:

https://www.reddit.com/r/StreetFigh..._think_it_would_be_cool_to_see_a_money_match/

A Fight Money match. Would be a sick way to get more FM online and would be putting something on the line even if it's fake money lol.

I actually came up with that same idea a few days ago
in the shower
.

Definitely would be fun.

People have been asking for this since they announced Fight Money

Yeah that was my first thought when they announced fight money. They'd have to be stupid to nkt release something like that in a year maybe.

Not going to happen, since you can buy FM with cash it would count as gambling. If FM was only obtainable in game and held no value it would be easier to circumvent gambling laws. I'm sure Capcom thought of this but deemed it not worth the hassle.

Im torn on if I should continue to use my fight stick or start using the DS4. Im curious what everyone is using as a button config for the DS4? I find R1=HP and R2=HK pretty awkward...but also having HK over on the left left triggers doesnt feel right either.

Can anyone post their button configurations for the DS4?

I may end up using the stick for some characters who seem better suited to it (Ryu, Chun-li) and the DS4 for other characters (Zangief), though its annoying to have to change the button config each time I switch.

You actually CAN'T buy fight money with cash. You buy Zenny with cash which is completely different. FM is only obtainable in-game and holds no real value.

Unless I'm mistaken you can bet in GTA Online and in-game money is purchasable in that.

Ok, I'll give it a whirl. The easier inputs makes Cammy a lot easier to play. Gives her more options.

I still don't get why sMK pushes her forward, though. The only button that does that.

It's her best zoning tool, you'll be using it frequently and getting closer is a big benefit while zoning.

Can you actually buy Fight Money? I was under the impression that the real money equivalent is Zenny.

Daytime Kanzuki Estate doesn't have any NPCs because it takes place before Karin's party. It's empty by design.

Your stating that as if it is gospel but that could just be a happy coincedence too you know.

The story matching the stage is also something they could easily do as it would have made little difference to the story if there were a few people standing there. By the way, the ninja at night are also not party guests but Kanzuki Zaibatsu employees, so why could they not be training during the day?

I say (and remain hopeful) that they simply did not have time to add in NPC's, but time will tell I guess.

This is too easy you need to make it more convoluted dammit! Joe Schmoe needs to earn colours for every costume separately!

I wouldn't mind having to unlock colors for each costume separately so much if they gave FM / EXP rewards with it too.

Day 4

Matchmaking still takes >20 minutes with all settings set to any.

Friends still can't join my battle lounges, nor can I join theirs.

Good job fixing it, Capcom. Working as intended.

What's the best/easiest way to use a DS4 in this game on PC? I heard InputMapper might cause input lag!?

How do we earn Zenny? Or are we supposed to buy Zenny with real money when the shop launches?
I don't think you can earn Zenny at all.

I honestly think this picture should be added to the OP or at least to the OP of the next OT so that people don't get confused.

You can't earn Zenny, you can only earn fight money.

Fight money is the fictional currency that you get by playing in-game and you can purchase everything except for premium costumes.

Zenny is the equivalent of real-life money since the only way to get it is to pay money. You can purchase everything with it.

Mybad I though they said we would be able to buy FM and Zenny in March.

The GTAV is rated R though isnt it? In the UK its an 18, SFV is a 12. They would have to reclassify the game.

Ok The PS4 version is definitely not running at 60fps... I mean not just random drops.. its is constantly underperforming.

I spent several hours yesterday on the PS4 version, grinding out some colours and playing some casual matches. All good. i then switched to PC today and the difference was night and day, in terms of inputs and flow. Having a steady 60fps felt so much snappier, I was actually taken back a little. It just felt ... better...?

I hope performance issues are sorted out later on down the line as once you try the PC version it is hard to go back to PS4. And there really should be no reason why it cant achieve 60fps.

This isn't about aesthetics, frame skipping/dropping affects the game/flow. Has anyone else switched between versions and noticed this? I will be the first to admit I am sensitive to framerate issues - no wonder digital foundry skipped the framerate test.

Took a break from the sad ranked matches, and managed to complete normal survival with Karin on the first of the day, closest before was 28.

To make it more dramatic, the battery in my controller died just when Nash in round 28 pulled of his critical art... Luckily the enemies are rather passive so managed to kill him after I rushed for my other controller and a full health supply generated after.

The question is if the nerves will be able to even try hard out..

Hmmm... Not to condescend but the motion blur on PC might be causing you to think that the PS4 is dropping frames as that operates with no motion blur.

Digital Foundry DID to a framerate test and found that during offline fights the game runs at a locked 60 on PS4. If you're talking online drops though that is more noticeable but still not "constant".

Game's awesome I do not get the kneejerking backlash. Online is as good as I remember it in IV. Sure, one in five games can have a problem, but that's often on the player's service.

I have one question. In IV i could check my playtime, win percentage etc. Can I do it in V?

He probably will but my guess would be 2018 at the earliest.

I've noticed some slowdown occurs when playing for a long period of time. I think the problem is tied to the servers because restarting the application fixes it.

Ahh you might be on to something.. will try turning off motion blur via ini settings. Thanks for the constructive comment :) good looking out!

GUYS, I JUST CAME UP WITH A MUCH SIMPLER WAY ON HOW TO LOCK COLORS.

They're tied to your level with the character. Increments of 2 at first, then increments of 5. So playing online, survival and doing story mode all goes towards getting you more colors.

Where's my job offer, Capcpom?

KI does this :)

CFN looks like it's supposed to have tons of stats and stuff but it never actually loads for me.

And the online is incomparable to 4...at best I had dropped inputs every round in that game, at worst matches were underwater. I sometimes get teleporters and weird side to side twitching in 5 but for the most part netcode is great.

I am probably relying too much on my Specials. I need to learn more combos.

Even just one practical combo is enough. Do it so many times you don't have to think anymore. Just find something reasonable to capitalize on a crush counter or stun.

What do you guys think would be a good punishment for rage-quitters? No more fight money for a week after 5 disconnects?

A friend of mine got raged on like 7 times last night and suggested that disconnect percentage to be visible right next to you name so people can see it at glance or something . When searching for games have a new metric to search for disconnet rate of low med high.Eventually people will stop playing with them . Let them hang themselves.

anyone got tips on beating the last fight Bison Normal Survival w Chun?

i hate the thought of playing this again but i want that blue alt...
