RIP. Was on 44, got a skype call and a fight request at the same time when I was low on HP.

I decline the req by accident, gief kills me with s.rh

I'm done.

I would quit streetfighter if that ever happen to me. Did yall see at the end when RASSHHIIIDO went in slow motion on the "YOU WIN" screen? Holy shit. I started shaking and pissing on myself when RASSHHIIIDO got stun on Vega and set up for that big ass combo. WOWOWOWOW.

I felt like RASSHHIIIDO was hitting ME IRL! wtf? I thought I was in the game. Never felt like this before in my life. I feel like I need to hit the lab and study RASSHHIIIDO.

new Haunts blog post is up

pretty much says nothing new. "shit is improving but shit aint fixed yet"

Battle Lounges

Improvements to Battle Lounges have been made in that users should not get disconnected once they are in a lounge. That said, the ability to search and join Battle Lounges still needs improvement as it is not functioning as intended. We’ll be looking at this over the coming weeks and hope to fix the issue soon.

FFFFFuck. This is all I need. The ONLY thing I need.

I haven't seriously played SF since SNES and I'm wrecking a lot of people with a ton of playtime in this game (can tell by their level). Not sure how, I'm not doing anything special. Struggle big time against a decent M Bison though. Haven't learned to counter his moveset.

Maybe time to play ranked matches I guess.

level means nothing, not to burst your bubble of course

Fighting games are hard.

Yeah didn't mean they should be good, just that they had some practice and weren't completely new. Anyone who plays it seriously would probably kill me.
you can get to like lvl 150 after playing an hour of story mode. You lvl insanely quickly by doing single player content.

can someone explain whats happening in that video in layman's lol

Basically you get a free "out of pressure card". essentially you are invincible on wakeup.

You cannot be thrown or anything. this is a SAVAGE tactic. I better not see any gaffers using this!

Ugh these god damn scrubs who rage quit. Just beat a Silver Nash and he quit right as I KOed him. I can't believe Capcom didn't have a rage quit system in place when the game launched. It's like, "Oh? I wonder how this asshole is a Silver rank...it all makes sense now."

Capcom's servers are barely even stable one week after launch. Putting up a rage quitter penalization system in place at the outset would've completely blown up in their face.

This. I have both on to get into matches fast since I don't care for points much. Or free pick on casuals.

Guys guys ... COME ON. They're already storing your favourite character on their servers once and the servers are clearly buckling under the weight of holding that much information and now you want them to store DOUBLE??

Really??? It can't be done! Think of the laws of nature! And physics! You might as well ask for the secret of life before they'd be able to pull off such a feat!

/s yeahhhh I really want that too...

Eh I disagree, they've been pretty stable for like 5 days now. And also what does a rage quit system have to do with servers? You could just code the loss into the game.

Patchnotes wish list:

1) Make Mika's V-Skill not total shit, like wtf

2) punish rage quits

3) remove Necalli and FANG from the game

that isn't too much to ask, is it?

Many many many of the disconnects you're seeing aren't ragequits, it's people being being D/C'd by the servers.

Why should they patch that? Doesn't seem that great.

Anytime the game is making selections for a person instead of them making a choice I think it's bull shit.

So if I know you down in corner, and do a jump in you should have to think about it. If instead I go for a set up, and you get 2 of the options covered it reduces risk, mind games, and waters the game down.

after the Karin rage quit, lost to the flowchartiest of Kens (actually kinda salty about that), a Nash, but won against a nice Chun, a Mika, a Laura and another ken so back up to super bronze, better call it a night on a high note!

this has not been the case for me at all thus far, even when the servers were really really bad.

unless i assume that people with 10 win streaks that are bad at the game just "happen" to constantly get disconnected right when they are about to lose

Ewwww. Yea that's gotta go.

You can hit V-Reversal and throw at the same time (So LP+MP+HP+LK) and when an opponent approaches you it will either tech their throw if they try to throw you or do the V-Reversal if they don't. It's like a free 'get the fuck outta the corner' option select.

Doesn't it only work if they try to tick throw? Big whoop.

Nah dude it's easy to tell the difference. These are people who either quit right before the KO or when the KO happens. All Capcom would have to do is make it so you don't disconnect from the match when someone pulls the plug. The problem is how does the game know if someone disconnected intentionally or just by losing the connection? I think if it happens when the KO happens or soon before the game should recognize that and give the non quitter the win. Just don't know exactly how you'd implement that.

How did KI do it?
