Never seen an Avengers or Captain America film (and I'm a fan of Spiderman, Batman, Antman ect) just never appealed to me. This time however, I am there day one, what a cast.

There are too many blockbusters in the summer months for it to challenge Star Wars. It'll have legs, but something flashy will open a week or two later to draw viewers away. Winter may be tough for films to have legs because the weather & kids in school. But Summer anymore is tough with just so many movies to compete with.

Since if he is 15... Then he was like what 7? When Iron Man became a thing. He grew up hearing of them.

Iron Man 1 was retconned to happen in 2010, so if Civil War takes place at the same time it's released in theaters in the real world, Peter Parker was 9 when Tony Stark revealed his Iron Man identity to the world.

It makes sense to me. Stark's thing lately has been trying to do the right thing and then completely fucking it up because he doesn't think things through. Meanwhile Cap, who one movie prior was telling Nick Fury "this isn't justice, this is fear", is taking the side of the moral right and probably thinking "last time Stark tried to do something for the greater good, he made Ultron"

What's so unexplainable about them? Ignoring all the shit that goes on in the MCU already, we have real technology already that does stuff like eye tracking, auto focus, etc. A $100 camera can take pictures automatically when it sees you smile or open your eyes. It's just a small screen that opens/closes just like camera lenses.

I meant "nobody is demanding the scientific explanation for how Stark can suddenly make a glove sized bullet-stopping gauntlet out of wristwatch" but we need an explanation on how Spidey's eyes work when they're clearly using a fancy version of a camera iris.

The spidey eyes function like focus lens - nice way to work in the effect of emoting by way of design. I dig that shit. I hope the costume over time in future movies transitions into a more classic look - but damn if that face ain't signature Ditko. HYPED!!!!

The underwhelming energy is the point. Spider-Man isn't taking any of this really seriously. The humor comes from everyone being hyped for his first showing and then he just comes ip and says, "Hey everyone" nonchalantly. It perfectly fits his character.

I hope this comes across better in the movie but this looks so cringe worthy... in the trailer it makes it seem like hey he's about to shoot someone, better pull out this one off glove that you'll never see again and take this shot to the face.

Tony Stark chose red for his Iron Man suit despite Jarvis insisting it had no tactical advantage. It could easily be written off in the film as a character preference. It does make the character cartoony. Kind of got a Green Lantern vibe from the suit and a Deadpool vibe from the eyes. Ryan Reynolds must be haunting this trailer.

Stark creating the eyes just for the costume to look cool is totally him... I don't want them to be some zoom goggles. Tony saw a movie called Deadpool and tried to recreate the eyes to enhance the look of his new buddy Spidey. He said it : "I just pay for everything and design everything, make everyone look cooler."

Where does Spider-Man swing in from? The time old question of where he actually latches his web onto buildings. They're fighting on open tarmac.

It's weird that he's the one making bad decisions... yet he's the one that's like Steve, you need to be held accountable for this and I'm going to be the one to do it. Comes across as a hypocrite... but it makes sense because this kind of thing happens.
