The Snyder remake is one of the better remakes ever IMO.

The foundation of the movie was there, but it missed alot to move the category of really great horror movies.

It wasn't a bad movie that's for sure, but there was so much missing.
Which is a bit sad when you take the huge budget into account.

Opinions and that, but I've yet to enjoy a film he's directed. To be fair, I haven't seen Snyder's version of Dawn of the Dead, which many feel is his best work.

Dawn of the Dead was a small hit

If we're talking Watchmen opinions, I thought it was a classic and one of the greatest films of all time.

It's in my Top 20 movies of all time and number 3 on my Top 5 comic book movies of all time. It's sheer excellence and it makes me sad the same guy directed Man of Steel.

Likely Joker went to prison prior to Zod arriving on Earth, about two years before the events of BvS. Movie makes it clear Batman goes down a dark path after that.

So does this mean Affleck is a shoo-in for winning another Razzie Award for next year's show?

If not necessarily for worst (supporting) actor, I'm sure the Razzie committee will make the next show's special award theme will definitely be made with BvS in mind. "Razzie Award For Actor Who Needs To Stay Away From A Specific Genre" or something.

Affleck seems to have gotten a respectable critical reception. Snyder and his writers being up for Razzies wouldn't be surprising, though, given that the storytelling is mostly what's getting ripped to shreds.

If anyone gets a Razzie worst supporting actor nod it might be Jesse Eisenberg, since a lot of critics are calling his performance a Zuckerberg retread or just overdone.

I can see how the movie would turn reviewers off, but it is only going to make suicide squad look better. I trusted Snyder to deliver and personally, he did, it was a fun movie and did everything I wanted, so I'm not disappointed in the slightest. I'm pretty sure this is the end of Snyder directing though, probably be officially dropped after JL.

I like the first Thor's intent, but it needed to flesh some stuff out. Second movie, Thor seemed to completely forget his development from the first one.

I remember most of cinema laughing on a lot of scenes

That could have been done anywhere. There's nothing important within the context of the character, his development (lol) or anything. I'm talking about the fact that it's called Thor and nothing really specific to Thor is interesting or adds anything. The Infinity Stone is a maguffin.

The system isn't broken as much as I just don't align in tastes with this hypothetical average critic on many things.

Yeah, that's usually how I feel about it. Usually means I like movies that most consider bad, or they end up being cult classics.

I've never seen a Marvel movie in the theater, I just wait until they're on Netflix/Amazon Prime/Red Box. Even them, I haven't seen Thor 2 or Age of Ultron yet. I liked Ant Man though. I probably enjoy the Captain America movies the most out of Marvel's MCU.
