This movie deserves it for its shitty treatment of Superman. Batwank will never stop being absolutely insufferable, and this movie clearly wanted Batwankers.
I just want a good Superman movie man. He's an amazing and classic character, and to see him constantly wasted and shat on by people who don't understand him is infuriating.

That was always my thoughts. I think people sometimes set their expectations too high after a masterful second entry. Look at Spider-Man 3 and Uncharted 3.
I mean reading through the spoilers that got wiped off here I can totally see why absolutely any sane person would be fed up with some of the shit going on in this movie.

The Dark Knight Rises is certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with an 87%, has a metascore of 78 (The Dark Knight is at 82), a Cinemascore of A, and was on several critics' top movies of the year lists, including the American Film Institute's list. So the hate for that film is utterly baffling. Did it live up to The Dark Knight? No. But it's a good film in its own right, especially compared to Man of Steel, which is an actual bad film.
