The schadenfreude is so so strong tonight....
holy fucking shit lol
Putting together a compset for BvS. Here is a list of its peers, comic book movies that were similar in critic reception. You know, plus or minus 10%.
Daredevil: 44%
Fantastic Four: 27%
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer: 37%
Blade: Trinity: 25%
X-Men Origins: Wolverine: 38%
Green Lantern: 26%
Batman Forever: 41%
Superman III: 26%
And comic book movies that are way out of BvS's league:
Man of Steel: 56%
The Amazing Spider-Man 2: 53%
X-Men: The Last Stand 58%
You're acting like BvS isn't going to make enough money to green light Justice League all the way through.
I don't understand why people here are happy that this movie is getting bad reviews. I was looking forward to this movie and feel disappointed at the result. I really want this movie to work![]()
Let the records show that this committee holds him responsible

YOU'RE TEARING ME APART
It has to do 800 million just to break even. Depending on what consumers response is its possible this movie isn't even profitable.

Movie is so bad that the thread had to be locked for a second just to try and stop it from dropping it any further. Kind of like closing the stock market.
as it should beThink about it GAF:
The highest reviewed VS movie is still Freddy vs Jason.
Let that sink in.
No, Kramer vs Kramer doesn't count.
You are the forefather of the gif. Hallowed be Alandrus name.

When the movie inevitably makes a billion dollars? Zero. This movie doesn't need to be good. It just needs to sell.
Lol that's what I witnessed at my showing last night. People were practically begging for something to cheer for and there were like 1 or 2 moments. Otherwise after the ending we watched the credits roll hoping for a stinger and instead left in silence.
And something similar happened when I watched MoS in theaters. You would think silence is good for a theater experience but usually these comic book movies lead to nice pops with some crowd pleasing scenes. Instead we all watched in silence and left without any reaction haha.
Oooooo Joe's review is gonna be juicey.
So what do you think is going on at DC HQ right now? Performing animal sacrifices to insure the reviews don't impact the box office in any meaningful way like Transformer movies?
(not mine, friend just so happened to send this to me half an hour ago)

WE HAVE TO GO BACK
Ironic considering Angry Joe seems to like both MoS and this lol![]()
After the dreadful MoS movie I had hoped snyder would learn from his mistakes, but I guess not it seems.
Not even gonna bother watching this at the cinema now. Guess I'll wait for it to hit vudu/netfix before I see it.
This is slightly out of context as I think he's referring to how they sat through the entire credits only to find out there was no teaser at the end
