Isn't he doing a pretty good run on Superman in the comics?
Hell yeah. Hence why I believe he should be the one helming this DCCU and not fucking Snyder.

Straight up, uninformed, ridiculously contrived bullshit.
Edgar Wright delayed production: he wanted to make World's End first.
Same like BvS, where the first half was good and then everything turned to shit.
Netflix Marvel is doing shit in Daredevil way more violent than anything you saw in Deadpool, and they're doing it with a straight face.
There's some shit in this season that's Verhoeven-levels of violent, honestly.
It's trash.
This is the DCEU subreddit right now, LOL

Which is why I roll my eyes when people take digs at Marvel being too light hearted. The fact is, Marvel knows when it is appropriate to leverage dark/gritty settings and characters. Like you said, there are things in season 2 that you will probably never see in a DC movie. It's the same Marvel making these two vastly different products.Netflix Marvel is doing shit in Daredevil way more violent than anything you saw in Deadpool, and they're doing it with a straight face.

It's crazy how much they show on Netflix. I'm constantly surprised at how far they go.
I heard people frequently get food poisoning at this one restaurant, but I'm gonna go check it out myself just to be sure because I like to make up my own mind.
Dude...
Where have you been?!
I like Marvel's approaches. The movies are what you would expect from super hero films. Then they got two branches of TV shows, the Netflix one covering the gritty aspect of things if you want that.
That's a terrible analogy.
What a bullshit comparison.
Still no boobs tho.
Welcome Back,A break every once in a while does the body good! Back for that Civil War tho!
I love, LOVE, Marvel on Netflix. Way more than the cinematic universe.
.
The Marvel on Netflix IS the Cinematic Universe. It's not some seperate universe. Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage exist in the same universe as Captain America, Iron Man, etc...
Yes, because eating food and watching a movie is the exact same thing. Bullshit comparison
Yeah, the American Alien Superman comic has been getting good reception.
Longest/craziest rotten tomatoes thread in GAF history.

It has been a blast for sure. Honestly, the best thread in recent memory.
Why does Sharknedo have a good RT score?
Why does Arrow S4 have a better score than Daredevil S4?

Again: American Alien is trash. If that was made into a movie all you'd get is another 33%, just with a different smell wafting off it.
Probably because people tried to watch Daredevil S4 and found nothing to watch.
Marvel kind of treats the TV stuff like Lucasfilm has always treated EU stuff. The TV team's stuff claims to take place in the MCU, but the film team don't give a flying fuck about what the TV team is doing.
Is there a chance the preconceived notions, bad pre release rumors, the movie equivalent of a AAA ultra hyped game getting overly criticized before release and ppl wanting it to fail.....is there a chance any of that could fit here? Or is it really a turd
I don't know why I keep coming in here.
It's so disappointing lol, I'm just making myself sad lolol
The real question is: How the fuck does Jessica Jones have a higher score than Daredevil season 2?Why does Sharknedo have a good RT score?
Why does Arrow S4 have a better score than Daredevil S4?
The complaints are consistent with Snyder's usual MO, so I'm going to go with no on the DC smear campaign conspiracy. Is there a chance the preconceived notions, bad pre release rumors, the movie equivalent of a AAA ultra hyped game getting overly criticized before release and ppl wanting it to fail.....is there a chance any of that could fit here? add to that the weirdness of there being two different levels of MCU TV stuff: You've got the ABC shows and the Netflix shows and those two don't talk to one another at all but both refer to the events in the movies. though obviously the ABC stuff is much more directly tied to it than the Netflix stuff where they really just pay lip service to the MCU stuff and that's kinda it
I prefer it the Netflix way, really. I thought the weird AoS stuff in Winter Soldier didn't really need to be in the movie at all
But they wont. The Defenders could appear in either Infinity War movie or at least the sequel.

From what I've seen Marvel are slowly building up their tv side of their universe like they did the films. Let it be its own corner of the universe, build up the characters individually in their own solos before crossovers become the norm.
Smart way to do it imo. Just takes time.
