Man some people get really defensive about liking a poorly reviewed film. Its fine if you like a movie thats not technically sound or conceptually great or anything. Theres no massive conspiracy among critics simply because you disagree with the consensus.

Well I don't think they have a good track record lately. My expectations are really low and I enjoyed green Lantern and extremely dislike man of Steel and dark Knight rises.

Just came back watching the movie and all I have to say is the critics are complete idiots and are in bed with Disney. I give this movie a solid 8.5 if not for the confusing flashbacks etc, but man the action scene is top notch. Batman went straight Arkham knight mode like in the game doing brutal takedowns and just bone crushing everyone . the doomsday fight oh boy shit was crazy.
Tomorrow afternoon. Typically around 2-3pm, but this is a big film so we might get something earlier than that.

Just saw the movie
Got to say this thread has made me so uneasy the last few days, thought I was going into another spectre situation.
Movie was great, yeah there are some flaws but left a great taste in my mouth. Everyone I was with liked it as well. It's not the greatest superhero movie ever but I think the foundation is fine and I'm ready to see what they have in store for us.
Also people complaining about superman, I'm not sure half of you read the comics because superman is a giant dick in the beginning of the new 52 run. He is nowhere near new52 levels in this movie universe.
This is not a superman sequel, it was originally but then became a justice league .5 during pre production and people need to realize that when they complain it's too dark.
There were a couple things I didn't like but the good outweighed the bad by a significant margin.

What do you think the function of critique is? I always thought it was to let people know whether a thing is worth their time and money. This is ain't no different than avoiding eating from a poorly reviewed hibachi.
This thread is pretty entertaining in a way because of this, but sad in another for the same reason.
I can't wait to repeat this whole cycle if Civil War gets bad reviews as well.

Also.... I'm all about different interpretations of characters (IE Burton's Batman that killed from time to time) but holy fucking shit was Eisenberg miscast here.

You're right that there is merit to what critics do. People who don't want to see it due to the number of negative reviews are totally in the right. I am talking about people who keep talking about how terrible it is without even having seen it themselves and knowing that there are positive reviews as well.
