You need to be pretty angry to think that there's a superhero movie worst than Batman & Robin.

Schumacher's Batman movies were ahead of their time. Nothing but dat HUMOR and JOY.
Funnily enough, I always thought they'd make great Broadway shows if ever

AND THEN IN SUPERMAN 4 THEY FIGHT ON THE MOON

Like holy shit. It's such a damn good movie. I'm salty that you put it last. Fuck. It's a masterpiece.

You know after that Man of Steel I went into this movie expecting some great action, but I was profoundly disappointed with that aspect. Nothing came close to the Smallville scene

Same. I'm not really a fan of MoS myself, but going into BvS I was expecting at least an enjoyable action and set pieces on par or bigger than MoS....and it didn't even deliver on that.

Bobby pls. Val Kilmer's Batman is awesome.

He's fine, but that movie is so broken. Batman & Robin knows exactly what it's doing at all times, and sets out to do it. It succeeds more than it doesn't, it's just that it's succeeding at being a really fucking shitty splash of camp. Batman Forever thinks it can be a Burton movie, except for the times it suddenly doesn't wanna do that anymore, and becomes WORSE at being campy than Batman & Robin is. It does almost none of what it wants to do well at all.

And Brandom Routh is so damn charismatic! AHHHHHHHH!

WB can't keep messing up Superman with such good casting.
I did love Routh. Perfect casting for a young Clark, great melancholy, empathy and humour in the Reeve mould. The only problem was the movie was about an old Clark.

Maybe it's just because I hated MOS so much for fucking up the Clark character, but I don't like Cavill.

Also he's balding as fuck in BVS, he looked like shit.

I actually love Batman and Robin and Forever. They're goofy but I love them. As for animated Batman; Mask of Phantasm and Under the Red Hood are excellent.

Batman and Robin manages to be so bad it becomes good again thanks to Arnold. Batman Forever is just bad and Nicole Kidman at the peak of her hotness doesn't erase that.

Sorry no. I actually rewatched Batman and Robin recently and it's just a tremendous chore to sit through. There's no joy to be had mocking the movie, it's just devoid of any fun whatsoever.

That's not to say Batman Forever isn't similarly joyless (I haven't seen it recently) but there's no way it can be significantly worse than Batman and Robin, not even close.

I watched Batman and Robin last week. If you go into it expecting a 90s take on Adam West Batman, it's fun as fuck.Forever struggles trying to inject some camp into Burton's style.

To be honest, both movies are terrible. BvS is not remotely even close.

...........the more I let BvS sink in the more I actually think it's worse

I am glad to see that others acknowledge that Batman Forever is worse than Batman & Robin. At least B&R you can have some laughs at.... Forever is just boring weird shit.

There's something about Batman and Robin that makes me love it even though the movie is quite literally shit.

I could almost get behind some of the stupid and cheesy humor the movie tried to do but George Clooney is just so so so so so bad as Batman absolutely none of his material lands. To say nothing of O'Donnell and Uma Thurman sleepwalking through their roles.

The thing about Superman III and IV is that while the movies are true turds, Reeve is still so good.

Kind of like Batfleck, he's great even tough the movie is shit.

But Cavillman actually sucks the energy out of every scene he's in.

Batman and Robin is fucking hilarious. Not in the way that was intended, but my god, Uma Thurman's Poison Ivy gets me every time. "My vines have a crush on you!" "My garden needs tending!"

There's nothing about Batman Returns that makes it top tier beyond some interesting production design. That movie is nonsense.

Also Batman and Robin gets bonus points for going an entire movie without Batman killing someone. It's the only live action Batman movie that's managed to do that.

I don't think it's Cavill's fault for Superman's reception.

Then again, I haven't seen anything else he's been in.

I find Henry Cavill to be more Superman like in personality when he's just being himself in interviews and so forth, than when he is being Superman in the films.

I think Henry is great, it's just that they're wanting to take Superman on an arc, supposedly rather than letting us see him formed fully in Man of Steel.

I think it's kind of been said that Steve Rogers/Captain America as played by Chris Evans is more Superman than Superman himself in the films so far. I think that kind of sad as the Marvel characters outside of Rocket and Groot don't mean much to me, whilst DC characters do mean stuff to me.

Batman Returns is a beautiful mess of a movie. We got to see Burton go mad with a blank check from WB and full creative control. And this was back when Burton was actually an interesting filmmaker.

Delusionals up in here. Forever is sooooooo much better than batman and Robin

Superior Bruce/Batman, moody music, a few decent scenes

Batman and Robin is funny for like a minute but that's about it. Shit is insufferably bad. Neither are better than BvS either. Though that's alarmingly closer in quality than it should be.

TDK > Batman Begins > Returns > Rises > Batman > BvS > Forever > And Robin

You know, I haven't thought about that movie in awhile but...

Who would give Batman a credit card? Remember, it's not made out to Bruce Wayne - it's directly addressed to Batman. With a minimum $7M line of credit.

What financial institution would greenlight such a deal? Obviously none of the Wayne corporations could be involved, that'd raise too many red flags. Especially since there's literally no expiration date. Batman could spend $7M of your money, never pay it back, and you'd have no recourse to track him down for payment. If you did, what loan shark is going to take on BATMAN to beat the cash out of him?
